Judging by DCs interview I reckon it will be Andre for Tuesday. Slocombe to come back after that. Who do you reckon will be on the bench? Good point. Maybe no Keeper and hope for the best? Worked OK against Wrexham away

Could we recall Jonkerman from Mangoes in time I wonder? I reckon we could, but would that mean he couldn't go back until January? Good point. Not sure of the terms of his loan, but if that is the case then I'd rather leave him where he is and take the risk with no keeper on the bench. Ideally for me, we would have an emergency loan, even if it is just for the one game.

Tuesday is too important. We could be throwing a vital 3 points down the drain by playing a rookie keeper that isn't ready for first team action. It also could seriously effect his confidence and develoment if a free scoring Oldham side knock 4 past him on his full debut, and that could easily happen. If Lumley is an option then we should definitely try to sign him on a short term loan. He already knows the defence so could slot straight in with no worries. is this the same free scoring oldham, who have only scored 7 goals this season?

Also brought in some good players more recently including the highly-rated Eng U20 int. from Manchester City Kean Bryan, a former Holland U21 highly-rated loan player from the French top flight Queensy Menig and a Curacao international who has played in the top flight in Romania and the Europa League, Gevaro Nepomuceno.

The season we were relegated to non league we didnt concede many goals over the last 7 or 8 games, would you say we had a solid defence though?

The players I mentioned, plus Eoin Doyle and former France U19 international Abdelhakim Omrani, have only been there for one or two games though and are starting to make an impact (apart from Omrani who is yet to feature). Doyle has 2 assists and 1 goal from 2 apps and previously scored 21 goals in 26 games at this level. They are an improving side and will be a threat, however I still think we should and will win.

Andre in goal, Broadbent on the bench as keeper cover. No idea if he's played there before but he's the right size and I'm damn sure would at least challenge in the air.
Failing that DC as the defence would be scared to allow a shot on target.

"He s better than Roos he s better than Roo s Peter Andre he s better than Roo s, he s better than spiess, he s better than spiess, Peter Andre he s better than Spiess!"
Let the kid have another 90 minutes ,it won't change the season, and gives all the development squad encouragement.

Can't help wondering if the score would have been any different had Andre played instead of rushing Smith back from injury. I think it's fair to say Smith hasn't had the best of starts to his Rovers career.

Was he even injured, there's now way a goalie could have recovered from a rumoured broken in his hand in less than a month? Although bar possibly the second none were really his fault.

Well who would have thought we would see Smith in goal and DC blaming him for 2 of the 3 goals let in. Must say the second goal would have been saved by 8 out of 10 professional keepers.
