Well if i have to be PC, we need something to get the blood boiling Oh that's easy. Six fingers 2 Stoke 0, snake scoring one of them. Does it for me what made me laugh was for the first goal he hit the post and the other ted headed it in,the snake didn't celebrate the goal he just kept his hands on his head cause he hit the post Now there is a selfish prick, good riddance

You get the distinct impression we are getting is they don't care about fans anymore and they want out getting any finance they have out of the club you say that but I keep seeing a constant stream of new job vacancy adverts. Head of this, development that. That's not a business who are looking to sell I don't think. In fact some business minded chaps might call that (dare I say it) investment... Or dressing up the business to make it more attractive to a potential buyer

Perhaps that's why they tried to force the UWE hand in agreeing a deal so they could then sell the club? Who knows, at some point in the next 6 or 12 months they either have to start spending big money or sell up in they aren't going to invest.

Increasing your outgoings doesn't make you more attractive it makes you less.

This just sounds to me like a few constant posters who appear to have the time and inclination to post several times a day getting dissatisfied with the pace of change of an evolution and want to introduce an element of revolution by pontificating on the level of communication they feel they deserve from our top table . Mischievously this is portrayed as the thoughts of all of us. Well I for one do not want to hear how many times he has kissed the badge today, or eaten pirate shaped cornflakes, or used blue and white loo paper just so he can demonstrate his continued undying commitment to the gas. When they have something worth saying they say it, when they don't then they keep schtum.....I wish some posters on here would practise the same ethos.

Who knows, at some point in the next 6 or 12 months they either have to start spending big money or sell up in they aren't going to invest. I think this is probably the crux of the disagreement here around what different people consider to be investment. There's a difference see between building a sustainable business model via things like restructure, the procurement of new roles and grass roots supply lines and simply lump summing on a big visible project. Both mean spending more money but which one is the investment? Both, possibly but I suppose that largely depends on what the projected return is going to be. For example, spending tens of millions on a project that isn't going to yield the required benefits is not actually an investment at all - that's bankrolling, a donation if you will. Still, investment takes many forms and just because we haven't got a new place to perch our arses at the game to look forward to doesn't mean there isn't investment. It also doesn't mean that an opportunity to invest has been dodged either. Either way I don't think all this fear-mongering and negative speculation by good chaps who probably know as much as I do about what is currently being uttered across the urinals of power (not much) is much help to tell the truth.

BB 2 passed the Supporters' coaches last night, so at least Barry was there! So it WAS him I saw in the city centre before the game them. Looked like he was heading in the direction of the Weatherspoons but I doubt it! BB always travels to games. I often pass him on motorway when I go to away games.

I would have to disagree. Totally agree with your next point though.

The other brother, would assume if the only person in the family who had any interest was wael then Sam wouldn't be coming over as well? Thought he was know as Samer rather than Sam, perhaps his elder brother is coming over to sort out a deal with the consortium! If Wael, Hani and Samer are all over here together then hopefully there's some progress on one of the projects. Don't believe Hanni will be around, is not very often he is. Wouldn't get to excited about them selling either. I would expect them to be around for a long time

He's back for the Blackpool game, Sam is also coming over I believe. As for getting finance out we paid 350 k for Nicholls literally 2 months ago Where has it been reported that we paid that?

I don't get that impression at all. Aren't they trying to redevelop the Mem? Aren't they trying to develop a state of the art Training facility? Aren't they trying to bring through youngsters? Has Wael joined the travelling Gas when he can? Sounds like an owner who still wants the best for us, the fans and the club to me. Baggins, you're wasting your effort. There is an element that have masochistic tendencies and are almost wishing for terrible things to happen so that they can wallow in the hurt. That's just not true and if you maybe took a closer look at how the club is being financed then add the really bizarre announcement of the stadium dying and that was only after it was leaked, I think you too would be wondering why the changes and using of our only asset, to fund the club. None of the projects are actually really going anywhere and one could very easily get the impression that the club is maybe being prepared for sale. Obviously I could be completely wrong but the colony isn't going to be ready for 2018/19 as per SH's announcement and maybe it looks better for sale if you tell prospective buyers that we have land bought for a training ground. Whatever anyine thinks, we have gone from landing lights on and training ground ready for 2018/19 to a basic halt. Surely you must see there has been a sea change in the project and what was expected. When NH announced the Al Qadi's he said the stadium will now be built without the need for the Sainsbury's money. Makes you wonder if due diligence was properly done, on both sides. Even the most positive of people must be asking questions, no ? It's our right to ask questions but where there was once a very open and clear dialogue, we struggle to get anything out of the club now and I believe we would have still been kept hanging on the stadium if not for the very clear leak. Just my opinion, of course.

It was unavoidable after the leak. They literally had no choice. Keeping quiet was not an option

We had invested in people who are experts in building new stadiums also in a feasibility study. Where did the experts go ? The feasibility study, we were told, came back favourably. Football is not a "business" where money is made, not until you reach the prem and, even then most run of only paying back interest. It's very much a toy for a already wealthy and I think if you try to run it along the lines of banking then it's not going to yield profits, if that is the reason the club was purchased ?

You also have to ask yourself why did they set a date for UWE to agree a deal, then in the next statement said they would have to re apply for planning permission because of all the changes the would have had to make to the stadium.... why set a date for something you are not going to build to the original spec.....
