Guys a dick. Hoskin isn't much better. Can tell they're both more red than blue. Get far more excited about the city than they do for the Gas.

Radio Bris is so sh1t-centric it's laughable. theyre absolutely creaming themselves over the Man Ure tie, and have you noticed how that Lady Garden Ashton has resurfaced now they've had a bit of success? When they had that losing run last season he was nowhere to be seen. Smug, smarmy franchisee twat.

DC is an excellent judge of character. I really don't like Hadwin as he gets over excited about everything the opposition does in his commentary and rarely gives enough details when Rovers do something good.
Has anyone noticed that this also annoys Brookman who at times takes over when Hadwins commentary gets particularly bad?

Oh for the dulcet tones of Colin Howlett.
With Howlett for Rovers and Tottle for City, Radio Bristol had no pretence of impartiality in those days.

To be honest I think they are all shocking. First of all they seem to find it hard to admit when rovers are playing bad. It just frustrates me when we are 3 nil down and they say we don't deserve to be getting smashed.
My worst gripe with them is that they ask leading questions in all their interviews. I would love to know how they qualified in their jobs because in the media a leading question or a closed question is a big no-no!
Example: " it must really improve improve morale when rovers win away from home". - okay is that supposed to be a question or a statement you idiots! No wonder DC hates these muppets.
They never ask probing questions and always repeat the same questions week in and week out. I get the feeling they are too scared to delve to deep in case they upset the wrong person and get a club ban.

I think DC just gets fed up with the same feeble questions each week and the assumptions that are made. "You must be happy with that", type of thing. I'm pretty certain that a few weeks ago DC said something like, " can't you ask me an interesting q, like why did I play that formation". Pretty much all managerial interviews are a waste of time. Maybe radio bris should allow fans to ask the questions. I have some.... How many hrs do you spend researching the opposition? How naturally fit is Rory? How much time spent in gym? How much running? But maybe that's me!!!!

Personally think DC comes across quite arrogant during interview sometimes. The questions weren't exactly difficult yesterday.

I’m sure some people take the view that if they say anything good about 82 they must be Sh1!heads, in fact they are only not a shithead if that sound ecstatic with a Rovers win and a City loss. It’s utter nonsense. The guys have to be positive about both clubs and all things Bristol. They aren’t generally from this area and have no allegiance to either club in the same way that someone from here would be if they went to work as a reporter for say Radio Sheffield.

Appreciate the sentiment behind this, as I am usually of the same mindset, but as another poster has alluded to when they're getting more excited about the opposing teams play than ours and you hear them covering City with much more gusto and excitement it leaves a sour taste in the mouth. Especially as you say, that they're supposed to show the same level of reporting to both of our teams. I distinctly remember a time earlier this season or late last where Hadwin covered Geoff's show, I think on the match day, and after the match there was significant coverage of city but hardly a word thrown towards us. Interestingly, Ed had an article in the programme this week.

...... Maybe radio bris should allow fans to ask the questions......... No thanks, based on the quality of the vast majority of callers to any Radio Bristol phone in.

But getting someone to ask questions is different to having a rovers soaked bias when calling in. They don't have to worry about a ban if they upset DC, who at the same time would give warmer responses

DC comes across arrogant, IMO because he appears to be talking to the reporter and forgets the supporters are listening, and really want to be hear a bit more than "we defend from the front", "I have a great group of players", "I was delighted for him today" and "we move on to the next project", the whole **** questions and predictable **** answers, needs to stop. Although, I guess to his credit, at least DC is saying something unlike WAQ and family. hmm

Get to the ground early or stay behind and you can easily talk to the players etc. They are all decent, honest and articulate and happy to talk about the game.
