I reckon they were going to pay for the fence out of the takings from the facup round 1, the trouble is we went out with no winnings...

Unpaid fence = doom That much is patently obvious. How do you know that if it is true it is not the thin end of the wedge and others come out of the woodwork Told a few weeks back we could have had a game called off as the people detailed to collect food waste from a previous game had not been paid so refused to remove it from the stadium. H & E got involved and said that if it was there Saturday morning the game could not go ahead. Needless to say the game went ahead so presumably we paid up. Can't remember the game. It was either Plymouth or Oxford. I have no reason to disbelieve it as other info has always proved accurate.

I guess your source of info has an axe to grind releasing this info which is impossible to prove or disprove, whose had their nose put out lately by the new owners? Odd NH got sure an easy ride in the past when things must have looked far bleaker for the club.

You nearly got there on your own, go on: "the game went ahead so ... "

I agree that communication from the top is diabolical and will cause damage to the club if it continues because people will begin to lose faith and belief in the owners. I have lost faith already unfortunately.

Ive heard that none of the clubs centre-backs have been paid for weeks and as a protest they are refusing to challenge for any headers in their own penalty area. Also the "tannoy engineers" havnt been paid for well about 6 years.

Terrible shame none of these people felt it necessary to speak up when the previous board were in power. Everything must have been ran perfectly back then. Makes you wonder.

So much "I've heard" and "I believe" flying around - do we really have any actual hard evidence of unpaid bills?

So much "I've heard" and "I believe" flying around - do we really have any actual hard evidence of unpaid bills? Err, No err I believe so. Lots of supposition and rumours third or possibly more hand. Somebody is on a major destabilising kick, be it someone who has power or misguided individuals thinking they are doing the right thing. Has anyone checked the "paradise" (sic) papers to see if we can implicate Steve Hamer or any members of the family to deepen this attack on the fibre of the club

It would be easier for fans to believe in them too wouldn't it? Compare the quality and frequency of their communication now to that in the first 6 months or so of ownership.
