Its the major projects that have not happened and the inadequate explanations from the owners that has created doubt. Is there a small group of posters trying to set the fan base against the owners for their own reasons? Or are they good supporters simply warning us of disaster and failure to come? My own take is that a lot of us are genuinely worried and need a bit of reassurance. First the UWE pull-out was only announced following facebook rumours and many did not really believe the explanation forced out of the owners. Then all the promises about developing the Colony seems to have come to nothing and as far as we know the planning application has not even been submitted and nothing heard from management in months. Wael seems to accept there are unpaid bills but retorts there is more reasons than finance for not paying bills but does not elaborate. Today Stewty talks of it being a difficult week for the club with things going on behind the scenes. The only way to stop all the rumours is by better communication and a few updates from the owners. Not really...a previous prime minister had stories told about him being intimate with a dead pigs beheaded head. There was no denial...just silence on the subject until people got bored and moved on. When really he should have either denied or confirmed the story proving the case one way or another.
edit:Many of the staff will have been affected by the death of G.D. and will also want time off for the funeral . Which on a matchday is not that convienient from a business point of view, so no doubt extra people may have been brought in to help out (?). A diificult time for the club in more ways than one.

So the strategy is for management to stay silent and then everyone moves on and accepts thinks as they are. I think you could be right but it's a very annoying strategy if you are right.

I take your point regarding Geoff's funeral.
