Address the situation before it materialises We should get a new manager in and sack him straight away. Just in case. If that's what you want! I think he needs a defensive coach because clearly we can't defend but I think DC wants to do it all himself

All this talk of relegation, yet we sit smack bang in mid table 4 points off the play-offs. You don't honestly think we have a chance of the play-offs do you? There are 6 teams better than us looking at the last play-off place. Last season in total we lost 16 games and we finished mid-table - we have already lost 9 after a third of the season - wish I could share your optimism.

I blame Ward more than DC for that relegation. We didn't have 1 decent winger and we had a lack of speed in the team in general. Unbalanced midfield too.

I like the look of Colchester stadium cost around 14 million to construct and has capacity of just over 10 thousand. We don't need a stadium that will be half empty just like MK Dons currently have. Wael should consider that. MK Dons are never going to fill their stadium. Their capacity is 30500 and it would take over 13% of the population of MK to fill it. Colchester have a nice stadium of 10k but are catering for a population far less than half that of Bristol and 10k is less than our current capacity. I think Brighton is a better comparison they were averaging 5-6k before they moved and since have not averaged less than 20k. For our initial needs I believe we need a stadium of 20k. Build it and the fans will come.

Why did we sack John Ward in the first place ? For the same thing that's happening now, maybe - some people are recognising a similar trend. Personally I don't think it Is anywhere near time for him to go - but come January and if the situation is the same there will be a big question mark over his ability to keep us up. The problem a lot of fans will see is that his record in the transfer market is not that strong and iIF he has has lost the dressing room - he's doomed anyway. Having the remains of a five year contract will not be a reason to keep him. So if we're 13th in January you think he should go? Get a grip people. If Sunderland did approach DC I'd totally understand if he left with some of the crap he gets from our fans.

Have to keep the faith, DC is as concerned as we are, that mob over the road kept with Lee and look at them now, squad needs an overhaul, just need to get back to basics 4 4 2 and start defending as a team. Need to prioritise targets and be there at the start of the window with our Jordanian dollars.

Just the fact we sit closer to the play-offs than the relegation zone hints towards that lots of people like to overreact on here. Our alright home form alone will keep us up this season.

dc post swindon "lots of negativity surrounding the football club" 2 mins 40 secs marcus pre swindon "difficult week for the club with certain things going on behind the scenes" 4 mins 27 secs. They only look like bad club problems if fans want to see it that way. They could literally mean anything. Perhaps the one Marcus Stewart is referring to could be Geoff Dunfords funeral? Maybe DC is talking about a small slice of the fan base wanting to run the club into the ground spreading nonsense rumours when we should be getting behind the team to get out of the poor run of form. Or maybe there are things going on behind the scenes that we are unaware of that is afleeting everyone

Lots of people need a big reality check on here. Until we strengthen as a club we're a mid table league 1 side at best. Obviously going through a rough spell at the moment, but I fully trust DC and this group of players to sort it out.
Give them time and support!

Why did we sack John Ward in the first place ? He asked to be removed of his managerial duties partly to care for his ill wife. No he didn't he wanted to stay to see the season out and make sure we hot the 8 points needed for safety instead he was forced into accepting a director of football job for 8 games

It's been win/loss all season so far, that's why we're in mid table. What's the reality, that we're crap in the cup? Unfortunately we have been since DC has been in charge.

Why would a club with a weak go fence in the championship approach a club for the manager whose team are leaking goals for fun What Sunderland need is a strong manager
