Not my words DC on his interview after loss to Swindon, Not trying to stir sh** up again but if anyone's interested have a listen it's on the club website.

He is the one responsible for it So are board who aren't paying bills, building stadiums and throwing money at the club. Apparently.

The negatativity is caused by no new ground, no training ground, team getting rolled over every week.
No sh** has been spouted... tell me which of those 3 is a lie?
I don't really blame DC entirely. Board need to recognise that D.C. could do with DoF at this level to help bring in better players, we must bring in better players too which the board will have to pay for.. We still have far too many of league 2 and conference side around if we want to progress. We are now getting what should be expected.

Its hard not to notice that both marcus and now dc have hinted at issues behind the scenes at the club. Dc also pointed out in his interview that players would have to leave before he can bring new faces in. Difficult times it seems?

Hamer told us today all is fine...slow but steady development etc. Go on Bluebutterfly tell us what you think is going on behind the scenes that is unsettling the squad.

They only look like bad club problems if fans want to see it that way. They could literally mean anything. Perhaps the one Marcus Stewart is referring to could be Geoff Dunfords funeral? Maybe DC is talking about a small slice of the fan base wanting to run the club into the ground spreading nonsense rumours when we should be getting behind the team to get out of the poor run of form.

I like the look of Colchester stadium cost around 14 million to construct and has capacity of just over 10 thousand. We don't need a stadium that will be half empty just like MK Dons currently have. Wael should consider that.

Yes, it's hard to really know to be honest. There is definitely too much negativity from our fans. I just don't get the mentality of the people who want to knock DC as soon as we go on a bad run of games. I think he has earned a relegation tbh. DC shown us a lot of loyalty by signing a new contract when Leeds were linked with him, it's about time we shown him some loyalty back. Why do we have to be like every other fickle fan base in the country? Why can't we be different and get behind DC and the team? Why do we as fans, have to make things more difficult for ourselves than we need to? Negativity isn't going to get us anywhere and whilst I could understand it in the past at Rovers, I don't now. DC deserves better.

Also was told last night that he is on Sunderland's list of replacements.... I hope he goes because i can see him getting them promoted and that would be a very bad thing for Bristol Rovers

The difference being that DC has achieved a lot more for us beforehand than Lee had done for City. So I hate to say it but I actually think some of our fans are worse.

There is no conspiracy about the negativity around the club. The ending of the UWE stadium was obviously a major negative for everyone. Whilst the players may not have been that concerned the staff and fans were affected. A negative vibe had started to fester in the background. The delays with the training facilities added another negative feel. Frustrations with the defending and losing so many games especially those at home have amplified the negative feel.
The club and fanbase are surfing a low vibe at the moment. It will need good leadership from the top to turn the feeling around otherwise the club will descend into gloom and relegation will follow. We have all seen the positive effects that a feel good factor can have on a club. The leaders need to deliver some positive news about the clubs direction before it gets pout of control.
As for the players out to bring players in...that's said by virtually every manager. If Rovers are to abide by FFP rules then budgets have to be kept to.
Although the owners could possibly view a donation of cash in January a shrewd move ,as the losses in income which would follow relegation would hit their plans hard. This will be no doubt the biggest tests of both D.C. and the owners so far. The first team have nobody to share defensive knowledge from...the players are all young and the midfield are either young or have little defensive ability. The club could bring in a defensive coach to help the first team staff tomorrow. The club could bring in an older wiser centreback in January. They may need to do both. D.C.s pride may stop the coach coming in as he may not like a turn around in fortunes to be attributed to the new coach. I would actually see it as D.C. recognising a shortfall in the set up and using his knowledge to appoint the right person to rectify the issues. Good management.
