Still the same midfield and tactics, again resulting in a hammering. I know the manager has little he can replace with but something has to change, we cannot wait 8 weeks for the transfer window and just bumble along until then. Our goal deference will be minus 80!!!
I don't think the manager knows what to do?? Scunny will wipe the floor with us!!

Drop lines and play The beard as a defensive midfielder in front of the back 4. that will stop so many shots coming in from just outside the box.... Drop Moore and play anybody cause they will be better

A lot of it is to do with mental attitude. Remember DC saying last year that a few players weren't up to the mark when it came to League 1 and that changed players mentality and Rovers did ok. The same thing is happening this season, a few bad results and the doubt sets in. You can see the same thing on this forum. Just need a few good wins under the belt and things will be better. DC need to work some magic with the psychology now.

I see your point Henbury but SS is not the player to do that IMO. He has not got the passing ability and height to do it. Mind you Lines is no better as he is not a natural defender. We should have secured a DM pre season, even the Australian lad we had on trial was worth a go. We cannot continue to play Lines and Sercs together it leaves us wide open.

Agree 100% and would keep Sercs just for his goal scoring ability, unlike Lines who at the moment would have a job to hit a Barn door

Rich what's happening mate??? Did you go?? Cannot work out what is going on?? Do you mean me,Kev? Didn't go,no idea what's going on. Probably very simple - our very fast progress is catching up with us & players now stretched if simply not up to it. As you & I have discussed on the long away trips,"evolution not revolution " is coded speak for "we ain't throwing money at the club". I'm doubtful the AQ's are as wealthy as too many assume. Hence DC is now in a real bind - team desperately needs better players but no money to buy/pay them. I would only pose one question which has been asked before but I've not seen answered - who the **** would we get in his place??? If the AQ's ain't willing to lash out on players, they ain't gonna do it on a manager. As for DC getting it wrong - do you want to pop down Cribbs with me & tell him? We're stuck with it & must hope we bumble through.

Problem is we haven't got a different option ATM with BB out and we are lacking experience.
I agree we could push Bola up on the left and bring Brown back in at LB. But we have no wide man on the right unless we go with Leads and have Parts at RB and go 442. Since and Sercombe/Lines in the middle. Moore is not the answer in any position. He needs to go in Jan. He is just awful.
But that is very make shift formation.

Yes mate the phrase no smoke without fire comes to mind! I cannot believe the same mistakes are being made especially after Shrewsbury, if we bumble along we may get entrenched in the bottom three before we do anything about it. I think we have to follow the lead of the other team in Bristol and have faith that our manager can and will turn it around. Whether he has the financial backing Little Lee had time will tell. You can tell something isn't right by the body language and interviews but again time will tell. Anyway it's raining in North Devon!!!😀

Oh,hmmm...weather OK here!!!! Lovely yesterday! Maybe rain moving our way!!! North Devon - I'd assumed South. Anyway, I'm not convinced all these formation options are an answer - if we ain't good enough, we ain't good enough!

From the 'high'lights I just watched it was nothing to do with the formation, more individual defensive errors (falling over, GK parrying it straight to their GK) and Bola being a lazy ****.
Thank god we had 1500 die hards there last night to suport da boyz or it might of been 6

Problem is how can he play himself back into any form if he's dropped after just 1 match, unless BB's back tomorrow other than Broom we're struggling for midfielders.
