Not sure if I listened to the same interview as everyone else? He said on a number of different occasions, he knows the board are working hard on the training ground. He said Hamer and someone else is working hard with the owners on the training ground. He said what we all know already, we need better facilities to move forward etc. Like us he will want it ASAP, however things like this take time. We need to give the board atleast until the end of the season before getting on there back. I think you definitely listened to a different interview! 20man "What's happening with the training ground?" DC "Good question!" He said that but also said they are working hard on it! He won't know the start date though, he said he does not know about the planning etc. That's his normal sense of humour??? He knows they are working on it, but apart from that, he won't know a lot else as that's not his job! He said on a number of different occasions they are working hard. Not sure if it's true as I don't have Instagram, however, one fan said he asked Wael of he knew about the interview and he said yes, he was with DC when it took place.

If you'd listened to the whole programme after the DC interview you'd have heard 20p say that Rovers fans were texting in asking if Wael was sitting in on the interview. He said he didn't know why people were asking this but he could assure everyone that it was only him and DC in DC's office. Wael definitely NOT there.

Very revealing interview from DC. It seems like the fans are not the only ones that the board have gone quiet on..... I have been trying to view things positively, but I am really concerned that DC is getting restless and reading between the lines of what he was saying there seems to have been a lot of empty promises. The board needs to speak up now as there are a lot of questions being asked. We know that Hani has already pulled the purse strings tightly, so let's at least have some timelines for this evolution. Like DC said, it is all well and good talking about evolution but this has got to get started at least! A lot of people working hard behind the scenes, but why no end product? WTF is going on? !!!

Completely agree, and have to thank 20man for his honest approach also. IF, and I maintain that's an if, the Al Qadi family really have lost the will to invest further then they have to be doing the utmost to sell the club back to someone else who is willing to do so, on the basis that knowing owning a football club will involve significant capital investment! If they're still up for the job, please let's have some communication, even if it's just "we continue to work hard behind the scenes, rumours have no grounding, apologies for the delays but the project is still moving forward". If that genuinely is the case, why not say?! It's better that than just sitting back and watching the rumour mill spin and spin. Seems like worrying times having listened to that last night. If they're here to stay, they must buck up their ideas on the comms front.

Lots of posters were making it sound like the end is nigh. However, on the whole DC was still talking long term. There is definitely frustration in him though. When asked outright, DC said he would be lying if he said he wasn't frustrated. After the interview GT remarked that you could sense DC's frustration. However, DC has said a number of times recently that we are competing with clubs that have massive infrastructure. Maybe his frustration is more about that than the lack of movement. We are effectively punching above our weight. We as fans don't see that. We just see our attendance figures and believe we deserve to be competing higher. Some of us are even calling for DC's head now. I think if I were in DC's situation, I'd be frustrated by that lack of understanding and realisation that some fans have.

Even if they want to sell up what are people expecting to happen. Unless a sugar daddy with more money then sense wants to chuck a lot of money around and not get any of it back, any new ownership is going to have to work with what we have and find investments and do the right deal for the club if UWE is back on the table and that will take time

That's not how this works How can you put a positive spin on being told by the manager your supporting a club which is30 years behind the times and he's no idea if it's likely to change?

General feeling, things are not happening as quick as DC would like. But that's not for lack of trying: both on and off the pitch.

What is different from 5 years ago, or 10 years? The club wasnt going anywhere off the pitch before the Al-Qadis arrived. Maybe the years of going nowhere have finally caught up with more people and the Al-Qadis are now taking the flak for decades of stagnation, but isnt anything differnt that some of us were holding the club to account for a decade ago Its not exactly a new problem, but it seems to be being painted as such by some

The lack of leadership then and communication since has caused a lot of people to question their integrity and true intentions. There is a growing feeling of unease and that they have been disingenuous. That is why they are getting so much flak and unless they start to communicate, the feeling of distrust and dissatisfaction with them will grow even bigger.
