Gregg Wylde [Plymouth - Morecambe] Loan - thoughts? Good signing for Morecambe. He has been shocking since he left Plymouth a couple of years ago:- Awful at Millwall hardly got a game. Awful at Northampton on loan, subbed after half an hour against us as not contributing! ...back to Argyle - awful. on to Morecambe.....last chance saloon!

I must admit if it wasnât for Januaryâs cracking form Iâd be losing the plot over our January activity! Itâs been obvious from day one this season that we need width! We have mensah but heâs more of an attacker than a traditional winger it seems and obviously he only replaces Bodin. Thank god we have good character in the squad and some flexible players regarding position.

Northampton have signed Kevin Van Veen from Scunthorpe on a permanent deal.
Elsewhere, Rochdale are set to sign Stephen Humphrys on loan from Fulham. He is highly regarded at Fulham having been a prolific scorer for Fulham at U16, U18 and PL2 level.Â

Marvin Johnson could be set for a surprise return to Oxford on loan, just five months after signing for Championship side Middlesbrough, Sky Sources reveal.

I wish I had the self discipline NOT to come into the forum and read endless threads, speculating about this, or that, player signing up. Good grief, I think I even know Tony Craig's shirt size and what Otis Jan Mohammed Khan had for breakfast before he decided to assault the referee in his last game for Yeovil (I even know and remember his middle names!!!!).
I am sure that tomorrow will be no different either - I am sure that I will be glued to the screen waiting for that one announcement to confirm that we have signed 3 new stars and that everything is going to be hunky dory for the rest of the season.
It is such a waste of time - mainly because I think that we have all the stars that we need and that we will be hunky dory for the rest of the season anyway.
But, whatever happens, I guarantee that I will be here - WATCHING and WAITING.......... until the men in white coats finally come to take me away to that blue and white quartered padded cell. See you all tomorrow.

Northampton pulling away from the bottom and really splashing the cash. I think the Van Veen signing could be an inspired bit of business. Some might say he isn't a great goalscorer, but he is certainly a scorer of great goals. He is quite versatile as he can play in a wider role or as a no. 10. A technically gifted player who will also create goals.

BREAKING NEWS
Everton are confident of signing defender Eliaquim Mangala on loan from Manchester City.
Poor Everton. Maybe suit Everton's style more but I don't rate him. I'm surprised and disappointed nobody has come in for Flint or Bryan from City.

Giroud to Chelsea is a good signing for them if it goes through. I think he's been underrated for the gunners. He also has this superb record as an impact sub. Very, very worrying times if you're an Arsenal fan I think.

These things can have knock on effects though. I was hopiong something like West Brom selling Jonny Evans and them signing Flint to replace.

As for Northampton 9 signings in window so far suggests they found that ÂŁ10m that they âlostâ whilst trying to build a new stand. Personally would much prefer DCs approach to getting the right man. I hope Northampton go back down!

I hope Northampton go back down! I've heard the "doesn't try too hard" line and there might be some truth in that, but his 12 goals and 8 assists last season was a decent return and if he can get back to that sort of form will be a shrewd acquisition. Hasselbaink knows what makes strikers tick and in Dean Austin they have an excellent coach who might be able to get the best out of him.
