Brighton reportedly launch £3m bid for former Manchester United starlet Nick Powell after his impressive spell at Wigan.
Be good to see him performing at a higher level where he belongs. A quality player far too good for this level.

Luton boss Nathan Jones has confirmed he is in talks with Liverpool defender Lloyd Jones over a move to Kenilworth Road.
Good player, would be ideal for us.

He gave one of the best individual performances I've seen at the Mem when he scored 2 and Crewe whipped us under Buckle. His movement and quality stood out like a sore thumb.

Unbelievable and just typical of our luck. Our best players, as soon as a higher placed club come in for them they are off. No loyalty, just "thanks for the memories and for turning me into a star player from nothing, need to test myself at the highest level blah blah blah"
The lower league player we want to sign, if indeed we were ever in talks with Khan, decides to stay at tinpot poxy Yeovile to play in front of 2000 home fans, for a gibberimg, mumbling muttering twat of a manager, in a side embedded in a battle to avoid relegation and stay in the Football League.
We have managed to entice 1 Conference player this window, is that the highest level from which we have the clout to sign players?
Absolutely shocking if true.

Only Rovers could attract 'billionaire' *snigger* owners who appear to be skint.

Oh, and I forgot to add, the Yeovile manager is even able to say of their star defender Enoch Showumni."Hes going nowhere"
I mean, assuming there were enquiries for him, and assuming those enquiries were from higher placed and bigger clubs, how the hell can they make statements like that, and apparently enforce them, when we meekly stand aside and wave our best players bye bye?

Luton boss Nathan Jones has confirmed he is in talks with Liverpool defender Lloyd Jones over a move to Kenilworth Road. Good player, would be ideal for us. Signed now. Would have been a great signing.Don't think our ramshackle, out of date ground and modest wages are likely to entice a lot of interest. However we signed Sir Rickie at the last minute so don't give up yet!!!!! Club: Luton Town FC | Capacity: 17,500 seats | Scheduled opening: 2020 | Status: proposed Description For the last two decades, Luton Town has sought to build a new stadium to replace their current ground, Kenilworth Road, that lacks the facilities of modern-day stadiums, however plans long failed to move forward due to a lack of funding. Plans became however more concrete in 2015 when the club identified the Power Court site in Luton’s town centre along the railway tracks as their preferred site and started a public consultation process. The club started a formal application process in the summer of 2016, and purchased the land later in the year. The planned new Luton Town stadium is set to have a capacity of 17,500 seats, roughly 7,500 more than Kenilworth Road stadium, and has been designed by AndArchitects. The stadium will be part of a larger regeneration of the Power Court site that will include new residential apartments, a hotel, retail space, and various bars and restaurants. The club hopes to fund the project by developing land it owns elsewhere along the M1 motorway.

Kenilworth Road is hardly great. Do they pay better wages? If so, how the f**k do they manage that?

Luton are also looking to sign Flynn Downes on loan who would've been decent for us.

It would be wise to THINK before you speak nastily about a chap who nearly lost his life just a short while ago - because it makes you look a twat to use your terminology

Todd Kane gone to Oxford. Great signing for this level, albeit a loan.

On the flip side remember when we signed something like 39 players in the Penny-Buckle-the other one-and maybe one more era?! Led to relegation.
