Please list any serious complaints or suggestions here re match day experience. Once gathered I will write to the club on all our behalf and will message you all to acquire name and address as part of a petition/official letter of complaint. Rather than moaning and nowt changing I feel it’s time we confront the club. UTG! 💙

Ps if a poster has already suggested something you agree with then rather than double posting things, please just quote them and write the message “support” so I can also contact you as the more names the better.

Just send this-says it all really.
Hugo the Elder: It has been a bit of a chore this season and I've had my doubts about getting a ST next year.
You are right, it's not really even about the football. It's about the match day experience.
As I walk in the Mem gates I see 2 poor ladies stood wet and freezing selling programmes in all weather.
I make my way towards the Clubhouse bar where if I'm lucky I can fight my way past 100 smokers to squeeze into a tiny toilet for a quick wazz.
I take a look at the queue for the bar which stretches back to the door and don't even bother. Maybe I could stand outside in the wind and rain and buy one from the back of a horse box? On second thoughts....
I then think about having a browse in the club shop before I realize that it's inside a part of the ground I can't access after 2pm. And even when I'm early its tiny entrance allows for one person in or out at at a time. Then there is no where to try anything on. Not that they have any stock of anything you'd want. Especially just before Xmas.
So I make my way over to the Young Pirates cabin. Occasionally I will buy some sweets for HTY, but normally I just put his name in the draw ticket box in the hope he wins the chance to be the mascot. To be honest I try not to spend too long in the YP cabin, it really smells bad.
Once I've done that I make my way down through the turnstile that is so small I have to lift my rucksack over my head to get through and make my way down to the tent end.
Oh, what's that? It's another trailer outside in the rain where I can buy a beer.....nah, you're alright.
Next stop, the pasty hut. During my 20 minute wait behind 10 people I look at the posters on the doors. Ooh look. Pie of the day is Turkey and Cranberry. That sounds nice.
When I eventually get to the front of the queue I am greeted by a young person who is on their first day. (No joke, we have had a new staff member in the SS pasty hut nearly every single week). They inform me that they do not actually have any of the pies advertised and they proceed to list all the food they have this week. Just like the vendor, it seems we have to have new pies every week at the pasty hut too. God only knows why we can't just make a decision on what food to sell.
So, I order my pie and more in hope than anything else I ask what the Meal Deal options are. We all know it's out of date cheese and onion crisps and a twix. They never have anything else anymore. I politely decline and then help the server add up the cost of 2 pies and a tea before then helping them work out the change from a tenner.
I then make my way to sit in a lovely prefab tent, that's windy and freezing bloody cold all year round.
Now I come to think about it, what's not to like? When can I renew my Season Ticket again?

1 - in ability to open turnstiles on time 2 - Slowness of foodhuts to be ready to serve supporters 3 - Different staff each week season serving in huts. 4 - Wi-Fi in huts not working properly 5 - Difficult to get an alcoholic drink in bar 6 - Stewards not capable especially keeping people off fire exits 7 - Club shop not really fit for purpose 8 - PA system shocking cannot hear 9 - 50/50 ticket numbers should be displayed on screen 10 - Should have decent half time entertainment 11 - Should have a big screen somewhere in stadium to display team news Tec
Other than that bang average

People standing on the steps down to terraces. I can't understand why they don't realise their an absolute asshat for doing this, especially when the persons coming down the steps have hot drinks. Stewards don't do anything about this, probably because they ain't got the authority.
Bars very busy.
Foodstands very busy.
Contactless payment takes longer than paying by cash. This is about the only place in the UK where this is the case.
Toilet urinals constantly leaking
Variety of food in certain areas of the ground is a little disappointing. It's pasties, pies and sausage rolls or naff all else. This isn't really my cup of tea.
Stewards do a poor job of organising Turnstiles for East Stand/Terrace. The former always blocks the latter and queues appear on one block but not the other.
I'd also like to complain that complaining about all these very small things makes me feel like a right Victor Meldrew.
On the plus side I'd like to make a shout out for the steward that often mans the doors to the shop. Says hello to everyone coming in and has a nice little chat about the game. One of my favourite club employees (on the non-playing side).

The family terrace is a joke. Unless your child is at least 8 yrs old they have virtually no hope of getting a decent view of the match.

Its only a minor point but one that probably one that could be rectified ? We go for a pint after the game in the West Bar where the Butcombe is sold freezing cold, its so bad we end up going back to the Wellington for a pint of Gem. Does it have been served so cold?

The family terrace is a joke. Unless your child is at least 8 yrs old they have virtually no hope of getting a decent view of the match. There is no getting around that. There is however the option of the first two steps of terrace being for kids/families only. With a line of crush bars on the third step to keep the zone safe. All the way around the stadium. Stewards and fans will have to police this to stop idiots and the selfish from using the family zone.

This thread is a total embarrassment ! We are not the only fans who experience poor service on match days , does anyone believe that supporters of other clubs don't que for refreshments never have leaky toilets never run out of food etc We should be proud that we still have numbers to cause ques and sell out of certain products ? Yes things could be better but there are ways of going about complaining about things like this . Don't do your dirty washing in public ! Those pri:is south of the river will be loving this sort of thing ! Read Hugo's last line of his post on the Yesterday thread because that's what I will be doing coming back for more next season and for many more after that ! UTG

We currently have a scoreboard that shows highlights of games (prematch) that you would need very good binoculars to see what It is showing 👀

There aren't enough pies. Always running out. More of each variety imo. It ruins my matchday experience when I walk up to the kiosk and am told they only have steak and ale left.
