Where does an experienced CB fit in though, unless Locks is off I can't see he'll ever be dropped and we already have TB & RS as CH's this season, and you'd hope TB would be first choice next season. Likewise LB & Bola cover the LB slots, Leads & Parts the RB. What we really need is competition for Lines and OC in the middle as they were far from convincing again today. Plus a winger. Well until recently we were desperate for an experienced defender with leadership quality.Broadbent looks a real find but hes still raw and we have struggled in the left back position all season.Lee brown has been a fine player for the club but the harsh truth is hes not been convincing at left back this season. Its just a rumour anyway so who knows? all im saying is a proven winner at our level who can play centre-back or left-back makes perfect sense to me. He's 34 next year, if he was 2 or 3 years younger, a couple of inches taller and had lived outside London at some stage in his career then I'd agree. In my view too old, too short and unlikely to want to settle in Bristol.

Would be a good signing, 2 or 3 good seasons left in him. Despite our current good form we are still crying out for a bit of experience. If he is a straight replacement for Burn then he makes our squad stronger.
Replacing Burn with me would make the squad stronger as well

Would be a decent squad player and useful on the training field, passing on his experience etc, even partly viewed as a player/defensive coach?. I've been massively impressed with how well Broadbent has settled into League One so worry his first team opportunities could get restricted. I wonder what TC's expectations would be in terms of playing time? Why would a Millwall 1st team squad player be happy to just sit on the bench for last 18 months of his playing career, when surely it would be a lot easier for him to find a club nearer home, unless he's relocating to the west country when he retires. Plus don't we need a right footed CB not another left footer. Although I can't see there's anything to back up this rumour, apparently earlier this month he was even in talks to extend his contract? www.londonnewsonline.co.uk/exclusive-millwall-defender-in-contract-talks/We've not had a defensive coach since Steve Yates left and perhaps DC would allow him to take a few training sessions, study for his coaching badges, add his experienced opinion whilst continuing his playing career as a squad player? He's turning 33 soon and must surely already be thinking more about his long term future than his last playing days?

Craig will open up a lot of possibilities for DC, particularly three at the back, could be a very good signing, need a bit more experience in the squad. Let’s hope D.C. can bring in Otis Khan as well.

Maybe some of you are now going to realise that he's here to displace Bola and Brown - who've both been disappointing this season.

Would be an outstanding signing 400 games at mainly this level or above, 3 promotions from L1, I have been saying for ages that we needed an old head around on the pitch & in the dressing room & perhaps the answer to our defensive coach issues who knows!
Really hope this gets done!

“The man nicknamed 'TC' made a career-high 57 appearances last season and he captained the Lions to promotion to the Championship with a 1–0 victory over Bradford City. It was the third time he had been promoted from League One, twice with Millwall.“ ——— Craig might not be an ‘exciting’ signing, but there’s not many (any?) in our squad with that kind of pedigree.

A bit of a Liam Lawrence type signing this. Has recent experience of being promoted out of this league and has played plenty of games in the division above. I trust DC's judgement as these types of signings usually have a more intangible benefit to the squad. Also don't rule out another signing at the same time as DC is chasing two targets. Apart from 1 free kick Lawrence was bloody awful

Doesn’t matter about his age 32 isn’t old for a defender,if he lacks pace his experience and reading of the game buys he a few yards Look at Jon terry he’s never been quick but reads the game well and is a leader,we miss a leader, and if I was lines and I had a Millwall nutter behind me saying f get stuck in linesy then I would

I mentioned it before that so he's most likely got it from the forum. We will see if there is any substance to it come Monday/Tuesday. a few millwall fans on twitter saying it as well that's all Just checked their forum they seem fairly certain he's off to Suffend?

I’d be really happy with this signing, wonder IF we get the second which position it’ll be? CM? Or wing? And will we sneak a loan in for the other... interesting 2 days ahead I think

Wonder if we sign this chap then will we see brown at LM? He’s a good crosser and loves a one two!

Well I think he could be a good signing for perhaps two years.
A player with current Championship experience, and someone knows L1 inside out.
His wages might be an issue, but as we all know, most players would pay us to pull on the famous quarters.
