I don't think this is going to be as easy as some might think. 1) We've already lost to Rochdale this season. 2) They won their last game away at Northampton. A good win considering the only other side to beat Northampton in 2018 is Wigan. 3) They'll be well rested having not played this weekend. 4) Although they're 23rd, if they win their games in hand they'll be out the relegation zone. 5) Only 9 sides in L1 have lost less games than Rochdale. They draw a lot. We've lost 3 more than them. 6) Only 6 sides in L1 have conceded less than Rochdale. They're tight at the back. We've conceded 11 more than them. 7) The Spurs game could give them a lift and players will want to play well to keep their place. 8) They'll be battling to save their L1 status so will no doubt be well up for the game. 9) They're used to playing on a pitch that cuts up so will have tactics to suit the conditions. I know you could put a different spin on it but these games rarely turn out to be straight forward and I don't expect this one to be any different. I don’t think it will be easy, but I think we will win the game. Rochdale only have 5 league wins, unfortunately 1 of them was against us. As a previous post from me on this thread, let’s just worry about ourselves not the opposition? We are getting stronger and more consistent, let’s keep it going on Tuesday. UTG

Let’s be honest we are very likely to get done on Tuesday night like we did against AFC Wimbledon and other teams that are “struggling” hope I’m wrong but we must be warey!

Old Clem on BBC Final Score yesterday reckoned they gave out 15,000 tickets free to school children and charged £2 entry for everyone else.

This has been very much a yo-yo season, so back-to-back wins would be brill.

Not sure about the team being distracted, but there are 12 threads on the front page of the Dale forum about Spurs, and none about us.

However if we play as we did v Oxford minus the keeper mistake I think we will achieve back to back victories. with the following games being played hopefully results will help us as can honestly see them as possible draws - here's hoping !! Rotherham v Oxford - Draw Charlton v Bradford - Draw Portsmouth v Blackburn - Draw Peterborough V Scunthorpe - Draw

Wonder if Pochettino will be at the Mem seeing how it's done on a heavy pitch.
Wonder if Rickie Lambert will draw the 50/50.
Tony Craigs last appearance for Millwall was against Rochdale.

Rochdale. Tuesday night. Let me guess. Freezing cold, chance of a sleety snowey rainy kind of an evening making us all wonder why we gave up a warm house in front of the telly. Ah the Gas. Cus we ain't on the telly that's why

Imagine.Travelling from Rochdale on a freezing tuesday night, and ending up in our uncovered terraces for visiting fans.In the old days, the bottom four teams had to apply for re-election-no relegation to the Conference then-Rochdale were perennial applicants.Refereed there in my first season, early 80's and they didn't expect to get re-elected but did so.Elderly lady welcomed us and explained that as they'd not expected to survive another re-election they hadn't employed a secretary and she was standing in.Improved their little ground since then but the only match day programme I ever saw that wasn't printed just a duplicated couple of pages. Real football club who signed Matty Lund from Stoke when I thought we were going to after his loan with us.

I was going to start a nice early match day thread, but I’ve thought better of it as the last one I started was a disaster Wimbledon I think? LJG has a 100% record so come on old boy let’s get the ball rolling UTG!
