Don’t normally like to post about ex players, but Matty Taylor has had a huge fall from grace, scored just three times in over a year.. doesn’t even get a look in... he will be offloaded in the summer and back down to league 1 maybe to Oxford... serves him right!
If he would have stayed and netted 20+ last season which I think he would of, he could have gone to the championship in the summer and things would of been very different in my opinion.

Matty Taylor is currently unfit and not available for selection. He moved across the river for a much higher salary and the chance to play at a higher level - how many of us would not do the same if we had not been lifelong Rovers supporters?
It didn't take Bodin long to sign up to Taylors' agent and he too moved to better himself. Move on - very few of our current players are former Rovers supporters.

Should never have let him go for such a pittance.......... And BB too..... Neither of those moves were our fault. A sly shifty last minute deal for Snake and a player who really needed to go on to better things.

Where’s the info from that bodin signed up to Taylor’s agent? I understood he was being represented by the pfa.

I'm guessing there's no midweek match for us, then.

All players would be off-ski if the right offer comes in; unfortunately, we have never been able to keep our better players and that is not going to change any time soon. Rovers could have a look at their T&Cs and restrict players leaving for a no real money (£200k for the snake, ridiculous).

What a load of nonsense MT's set himself up for life and will probably get a far better contract if he moves this summer than if he'd stayed with us, plus assuming he makes a recovery he will still be a decent Div 1 player. He could have stayed with us lost form or picked up a serious injury and then released this summer!

Me too. Dust has settled after his snakey move. Good player, would score goals.
