Champions !!!!! We’ve got some great young players coming through. What a great job WAQ has done in financing our development squad. We’re in very good hands Gasheads, onwards and upwards for the future I reckon.

Excellent achievement, the investment in youth is starting to pay dividends. Here’s hoping we see more youngsters coming through to the first season for the rest of this season and next. Well done boys.

In his interview CH said that some players had been told that they would be released. Does anybody know who?

Well done boys. Why is it paying dividends, as unless it translates to first team apparences in the future then it actually counts for nothing as far as BRFC are concerned.

It is translating to first team appearance though isn’t it. Kelly, Russe, Dunwald, Baghdadi and menayese have made the first team and I’m sure will recieve more minutes next season. A better u23 side means it’s more likely to produce players for the first team.

Have you been to any matches this season ? Many of our development squad have made their debuts and none have looked out of place. You do come out with some funny posts at times.

Just need one or two to become established players to prove the value of the development squad.

Four members of Chris Hargreaves' Development Squad have today committed to extended contracts with the Club. Michael Kelly, Mo Baghdadi, Ben Morgan and Lewis Leigh-Gilchrist all put pen to paper on extended contracts this afternoon, as the Development Squad begin preparations for next season. www.bristolrovers.co.uk/news/2018/may/newcontractdevelopmentsquadplayers/
