I'm going to go for eighth - would be a good season in my book, with the resources at our disposal.

I'm going to go for eighth - would be a good season in my book, with the resources at our disposal. Same as last season top half but not play offs. Players playing for contracts and a great manager will perform well towards the end with the pressure off too I think we’ll pick up some decent performances against some of the top sides in the division but it won’t be enough for top 6. It’s been another good season and those that wrote us off in November / December should have known better. I said then and I stand by it we’re improving all the time ( and we’ve lost Bodin since then too). In DC and our squad I trust. I just hope that enough is going on at the club to keep him here next year if he stays then I think he’ll get us top six improved budget or not because he’s next level. Having said that if he doesn’t then that’s not bad just not overachieving which is what he’s done from day one in the conference and onwards.

8th place at the highest, 14th at the lowest. Most likely 11th. A reasonable season.

Beat bury and we could be 3pts off this time next week. Not over yet.

We’ll be top half, anything from 12th to 8th, which is a good season. Hopefully there will be some good results before the end and DC will firm up what he considers is his best defence, midfield and attack. Then in the close season bring in 3/4 players who will be first team players and improve our starting 11. With Russe and Hargreaves being considered good enough to be on the bench today perhaps DC will see the best from the development squad able to step up. Said it before but I like the way things are going on the pitch. It’s great to have a manager who’s prepared to make changes before half an hour is up and accept his plan A isn’t working. Most managers would wait until half time or even 60 minutes before changing, not DC. Still lots of football to be played, don’t think we’ll do the play offs but expect to see some good results. UTG!

10th which will be a good achievement considering our budget. We will continue to make small improvements overall both on and off the pitch.

Realistically, 11th or 12th, but with Rovers I've learnt to never say never.

Striking that DC hasn’t yet thrown in the towel from his post match interview. I won’t yet either

Yes have to agree mate, after our nightmare november all i could see was a relegation fight, thankfully thats not happen, and as others say a few new faces before next season and we should be stronger, anywhere above tenth would be fine by me.

I'm hoping 8th or 9th with about 67-68 points as that will signal progress over last year. As long as we don't lose any key players over the summer, I don't see why we can't better that and sneak in the playoffs next year or the year after. Progress off the pitch is so much more important than progress on it this year.

DC said pre-match that he wanted to win 4 out of the next five to be in the mix. A point away to a good team is not a bad result

We have 2 very winnable games coming up, 6 points from them and things could look very different? Although I don’t think we will get in the playoffs I’ve still enjoyed the season and I think we will finish around 10th place again, which I’m more than happy with especially after all the doom & gloom coming up to Christmas! (Not from me by the way) UTG.

Concur with what Marshy says but with our tough run-in - 12th. Lot's to improve on for next season - what should our back 4 be (obviously better personnel than this season) ? who's going to be back-up/take over from Lines, someone to come in new for right midfield and a goal-scoring partner for Harrison.
