i sincerely hope that the minority of posters on here who are trying to de rail the wael express, with all sorts of accusations, are happy to eat their humble pie and apologise to those supporting the club financially, and trying to move us on slowly with foundations to make us sustainable for the future when the time comes. of course they will hide behind someone told me, or I read it somewhere else, sad really we should all be pulling in the same direction.

Rocking The Filmore was a great album by Humble Pie. Stevie Marriott and Peter Frampton together made some great music

It's great we have an u23 sides, obviously we were missing that.
I don't know how many time it has to be said, but until a new stadium is delivered we are really just back to where to were 10 years ago with slightly wealthier owners.
We must move into a better home, otherwise I fear we have hit the ceiling and will be nothing more than a mid table league 1 side at best.

Unless you've got a crystal ball and can see into the future it is really hard to know if the minority or the majority are going to proven right, we're not really in any better shape, sustainable wise, since we moved back to the Mem, the only difference now is that the ALQ give the impression they can sustain the losses but we all know whilst we're stuck at the Mem we'll never be self sufficient, so how long will Hani let Wael write off £2m of the families hard earned money per annum? How will we finance a stadium build?

I can understand fans having doubts about the owners or taking the "believe it when i see it" approach to them. What i dont get is a group of people on here constantly trying to undermine and attempting to sow the seeds of discontent.
When i see the general improvement at the club and the reasonable backing the manager has had with recruitment i feel optimistic. Also on tuesday he was watching the development squad in the cold wind on a crappy astroturf pitch at almondsbury. I mean why would you bother if you wernt committed?

Hasn't the bigger issue always been how committed Hani is to the project, given that he seems to hold the purse strings?

Do you seriously think the ALQ's would ever make us homeless by selling the Mem in order to recover their investment? The only way I can see them getting a return now on their investment is to turn us into a Championship side. The alternative must be cutting their losses by selling up.

The minority will always whinge after having their gravy train stopped and it's driver removed, thats life. There are people in this thread who refuse to acknowledge that the club structure is now unrecognisable in comparison to the Higgs pub team set up and the trustee fax machine. Just let it go over your head because if a new stadium was built in several years the same people will be whinging that it's all seater. You can please some of the people some of the time....

Exactly so no money has been written off. @holmes, your previous post says the family are not actually risking anything because of the charge. If they are securing a loan beyond the value of that asset, would you agree they are now risking their money?

This is the cruxt of the matter, Singupgas has got it spot on. Without a new stadium that's all we'll ever be.
