Just saw a poll that was put out in the last hour and it says
"With Northampton Town all but relegated, John-Joe O'Toole could be open for a move back to a League One club in the summer, namely Bristol Rovers. However, would you be open for such a deal after his history with the Gas?"
Thought I'd repost that question here for you lot.

Don’t want him, I’m happy with the 4 centre mids we have at the moment and if we want another one, there are much better options.

Him being a tosser aside, I don't see where he'd fit in. Is he not a similar player to Sercombe? It's a dominant holding midfielder that we lack.

I would have him back. He was carrying our side that season.
He good footballer. Would be great addition to the spine of our team in my opinion.
Controversial though, if he was apologetic for what seemed like arrogance first time around then I don't see there being a problem.
Imagine him in the centre of midfield with Sercombe, Bennet on one side and another new player on the other.

Too attacking, Sercombe does enough going forward and we need a more defensive minded centre mid alongside him.

He was deffo the the best player in that side.
I don't know if it was arrogance or ignorance that led to the nonsense that surrounded his departure but it was not a great way to leave.

No thanks.
We could do with a more defensive minded midfielder though, someone like Bryn Morris, Funso Ojo or Jay Spearing.

A complete and utter twat. A decent lower league player yes but not better than sercombe or lines and the fact that he’s been relegated to the conference twice now tells a story too. Wouldn’t want to be in the trenches with him. Wouldn’t want him back.

Sometimes one of the better players in a team can actually do a lot of harm as well as score a few goals play well fairly regulary. I think The tool was that player with us. Can’t yhink of a player any less likely for DC to go for than him. I’d put my life savings on it.

I mentioned him the other day. Mentioned him in what context though ? It was during the Rotherham Match Day thread where I responded to someone saying Jodi Jones is a good player: "Jones is a quality player and one I'd love to see here. Tom Bayliss and Jordan Ponticelli are other very promising youngsters playing there."
