I presumed this was a joke! Had to check it wasn’t April 1st. Can you imagine what players like Lockyer, Ollie Clarke, Mildenhall would say and even Leads, Sinclair and Mansell would say. I know the players from that time are getting fewer and fewer but can’t imagine DCs credibility being improved by signing that waste of space. He was a good player but his tantrum before the Pompey match and the effect his behaviour had in those last few weeks really shafted us. No thank you, must be better out there. Anyway we don’t need his kind of midfielder with Lines and Sercombe, defensive midfielder yes, JJON no. UTG!

How many of these players you mention do you actually watch in the flesh pirate? A few, but you don't have to watch a player in the flesh to see they are a good player. Blimey, JJOTs ability to create havoc and disunity amongst even GasChat is amazing even when he bu****** off a few years ago. An even more massive No thanks. ps. Keep posting pirate, I really enjoy your posts and they generate lots of interest. UTG!

This is a fun thread! How about putting together a teamsheet of players you'd not want back at the gas. Not based on ability, just based on being utter wankers... John Joe O'Toole and Turncoat Taylor probably first on the teamsheet as they were most recent but there's got to be a good list of others we can add. Who was the guy who used us as a stepping stone to get to Plymouth a few years back? Can't remember his name but he was a total toerag. And can I suggest Paul Buckle as the manager? Fire at will... Gary Mabbutt

Instead of JJOT, I'd rather Nick Day say he's not retiring after all, and the reason he's hanging up his mic, is due to him signing a 2 year deal to be our midfield enforcer next season!!

I still don't know what he did so wrong, other than not wanting to be a non-league player, missing a header by a fraction against Mansfield, and having ambitions above his ability. Without him that season we would have been doomed long before May 2014. I think he's taken a huge amount of undeserved blame for our woes at that time. Can't agree with that at all. His attitude on and off the pitch was a disgrace at the end and totally at odds with everything DC has built at the club since. Watch this video and tell me otherwise. Incredible that anyone would want him anywhere near our club again.

I've no doubts JJOT is a top end L1 player but his attitude will always let him down and the reason he isnt a regular Championship player.
If you look at the picture I posted earlier in this thread you can even see he has a hard-on thinking of his next contract somewhere else.

He always came across as a bad apple, despite his talent I like players who have confidence and ambition, nothing wrong with that at all, but with JJOT he seems to think he has the divine right to play in the Championship on mega money because he scored a few for Watford when he was a kid. There is a reason he hasn't made it back to that level and imo never will.

O'Toole is a no from me. I don't discount that he's a decent player on his day but he could well be an unsettling influence in the dressing room. As happened last time.
