So, not too far behind Could be careful what you wish for though. Both MK Dons and Barnet moved to places miles away from where their clubs were originally. Broehamwood (who Barnet will be playing next season) is closer to Barnet than Barnet's ground is. I don't really know what threads like these solves rather than moaning.

The Council didn't want the footy team. They are RUGBY MEN. They gave the only sports venue to Saracens. Barnet wanted to extend their ground by 5 metres. The council said no. Barnet have an excellent set up now

Frome Town have cover on all 4 sides of their ground. They have more than enough seats for the league they are in.

Don't wear your hands out And you getting on your soap box on here spreading more negativity helps how exactly ? In reply to your " of course you don't care " comment , who are you to say I'm not bothered ? You don't know me from Adam! And what does " don't wear your hands out supposed to mean?

Swansea for one did not spend a penny for the Liberty stadium. The council paid for it. They paid a peppercorn rent to lease it until this year. They have recently signed a new lease and are paying £500k/year, but the Ospreys rugby team are paying the football club rent to play there! No doubt a few others on the OP list benefited in a similar way. Seems like another owner bashing thread to me. UTG!

"We are aiming to spend a year working up proposals with the architects and in conjunction with supporters and the community, with an aim to submit a planning application in late 2018, and to start on site at the end of the 2018/19 season." www.bathcityfc.com/redevelopment-qa/

Most of these grounds and/or stands are paid for with some sort of outside investment and/or mixed use development.
Yet the Al Qadis are expected to just whip out a plan for the Mem or a new site

Yet the Al Qadis are expected to just whip out a plan for the Mem or a new site Isn't that all part of the hidden agenda against the ALQ's by the vocal few? None of us have a clue why the UWE talks failed but certain posters seem to have convinced themselves it's all the ALQ's fault.

Yet the Al Qadis are expected to just whip out a plan for the Mem or a new site Forgive me if I’m wrong (memory not what it was) but didn’t WAQ state a while back that he had appointed a team to oversee the development of the Mem? People who had previously been involved in many redevelopments I’m no architect but would have thought at lease some form of plan would have been unveiled by now rather than just a new “tent” being put up
