I believe it is the new club shop by moving it where the bar was, it allows it to be accessed from the car park on matchdays even if you are not in the east stand or the east terrace. Where the bar going is another question? This isn't the shop but what you suggest will happen.

The sensitive Owners have told the supporters several times the UWE deal is dead and that some time in the future they may refurbish the MEM in a piecemeal manner. The Club informed fans many moths ago that the Supporters shop was closing and the Club shop under the East Stand was relocating. Assuming this is what this is about (that's what I always assumed would happen as access to the Club shop on match days was difficult and the floor area very small and crowded) It all seems very logical if my assumption is correct. All the whingers and critics will be very disappointed there are no new porta cabins or new tents. The other whingers will presumably all be upset that money on fans experience on match day will be improved over spending on more Development squad players. UTG So we're not getting two new tents for stands then, which is odd since they both appear on the club ticket office website? Starting to think the 12 world class architects Wael mentioned have been given a project each to design for the Mem: club shop, family stand, away stand, new bogs, new turnstyles, that's leaves another half a dozen projects to go unless the 7th & 8th were the new players tunnel & new pitch.

Both will have hard roofs as it goes.

I would love to see something from the club, like an artist impression of what they are actually doing, so we all can see what is going on instead of getting confused and guessing what it will look like.

They could still regenerate the mem. A few new carpets and some paint is not going to blow the bank.
Still look to plan to rebuild..will have to wait and see.

I’m confused. So what’s happening to the bar areas behind the North terrace? I hope they’re not doing anything that will stop the half time scrum / crush to get a Thatchers (half of which gets spilt over everyone waiting behind you) that you have to down in about 7 minutes. That’s all part of the match day experience for me. In fact, when I can’t get to the Mem I have a warm cider lined up for me at 3.45 in the kitchen. I then get my kids to trip me up as I go through the kitchen door to reach it before having to barge past my wife to get to my drink.

I heard that the whole bar area behind the thatchers end was/is going to be one open bar area. Not two separate bars. And the current club shop/offices space is going to be a new bar area. With the old bar area being to new club shop. Just something i have heard.

The club have hardly been clandestine regarding the plan for next seasons improvements. People say “well why haven’t they advertised it in the website/twatter/fakebook/twofacebook/instagump etc?” It’s because they realise they are damned if the do and damned if they don’t. Improvements to our match day experience gets heavily criticised by people who use it as evidence there is no “Plan”. If I won the Euro millions I always said I would buy the Gas, pffffffft, wouldn’t be worth the hassle. Anyone who goes to matches regularly, especially away will know we have some c0cks amongst us ffs. Have I offended you? Yes you! Meh! As you were moaners.

The sensitive Owners have told the supporters several times the UWE deal is dead and that some time in the future they may refurbish the MEM in a piecemeal manner. What's the point in refurbing a stand that just needs levelling? Its a waste of money. Be better off spending that in planning applications and architects and building a new stand in the long run. Its like putting a conservatory on the back of your house then knocking it down a year or 2 later to build a proper extension. FFS get a grip, what a load of bollox. its that attitude that has led to a decrepit stadium that is no longer fit for purpose, as b*gger all has been done on it for 20 years. You could announce a new stadium tomorrow and it would still take 3 years, prob longer

Why waste money on a design practice because people can’t wait .

You are preaching to the converted woosh. I think you have miss-understood my comment though as I am not being impatient because I want to see something like an artist impression. In fact, me saying I want to see something is not even for my benefit. Im saying it for everyone's benefit. Not because of being impatient but to stop all the arguments and made up crap by those who claim they are in the know, which just spreads confusion and negativity. And people guessing what it all looks like creates more arguments etc etc.
If something was shown like an artist impression, then we can all discuss actual factual stuff about the changes and therefore we can then have some peace from those who still carries hidden agendas behind their comments of fiction/claims of being in the know.
Im not asking to see something but I would love to see something. There is a difference and a meaning to what I said.
Just to confirn, I can assure you that I personally can wait to see all the changes and if you read the history of my posts, you will find I am probably one of the most patient people on here.

Read the comment above yours as already explained its not a patience thing, junior.
