I presume, that’s no wins in the first two games? Never beat Peterborough away, and just never beat Accrington. UTG

The last time we played on the 11th August we beat Cardiff so there's another good sign.

Having Accrington Stanley as a bogey team is the most Bristol Rovers thing ever.

First 10 games looks tricky to me. We face all 4 promoted teams from League 2 - who could all be carrying momentum following their successful campaigns last season and the other 6 teams all finished above us in 3rd, 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th and 11th - teams who will be looking to grab a top 6 spot along with hopefully us.
We usually have a better 2nd half to the season but if we can come away from these first 10 games with good results, we could be on for a great season.

Yeah shocking start to the season, Sammy Igoe pulled 1 back in the end. Hope for a better start this time BUT it’s all about the finish not the start really. Utg

We’ll have no defeatist talk on here before a ball is kicked, thank you very much. We are champions elect and the players know it (well the ones we’ve still got). We have earned the right to be in this league and we shouldn’t fear anyone, or else what’s the point in turning up if we are just going to hand the bigger/recently successful teams the points. RICH,...where’s the bus? This man needs a pep talk and a ticket! (Mind you, I can see quite a few draws amongst that lot...) 😉

Joking aside, when looking at the fixture list it's pretty hard to make a serious case for us finishing top 6 this season.
Nothing is certain of course, and there will be some who over achieve and some who under achieve, but sides like Sunderland, Scunthorpe, Charlton, Portsmouth, Bradford, Barnsley, and maybe Blackpool, Plymouth, Luton and Coventry would all look strong contenders ahead of us.
I have no doubt we will continue to be competitive and entertaining, but think that we may have to be realistic over what we can achieve this season.
That's not necessarily a bad thing though, as the club has much to do off the pitch to match any ambitions we might have on it. Provided we continue to show signs of progress and, crucially, keep hold of one of the best managers outside the top flight, I'll see this season as a success.

It was a hot day and she was complaining about the heat. She ended up guilting me into getting her some water. Horrid queue at the snack bar and 'yay' a small cheer from the travelling fans made me realise we had scored and I had missed it. FFS. The season did turn out well. A trip to Cardiff, a trip to Wembley. Sammy Igoe making a name for himself. That little bean popped out and ended up probably being one of the first kids to have his nappy changed at Wembley.

Not sure Blackpool and Scunnie are in a position to keep pushing the boat out though. Coventry also don't get any revenue from their home games apparently.

p.s. we didn't have signs of progress last season statistically - falling from 10th to 13th .Let's hope we turn this round.

Barnsley, new manager, players being sold, yes going to love playing them as the Mrs is a massive fan. Charlton are in the mire, Of the promoted teams think Luton is the one to look out for, The posh is still the one team to look at simply because of the money they spend.
