Sounds like Fantasy Football but you get to waste your money as well as your time and effort picking a team? Sounds convoluted. Surely the new kit will be the next announcement or at least a teaser shot of the badge and a hashtag.

Who's going to moan first that we've got 3 new shirt sponsors announced in one day???
Cracking effort all round by Tom and his team.

Great. Finally joined the list of clubs in league with one of the biggest social ills of our time. A sad day for brfc. Thankfully not front of the shirt. I don't mind an accumulator on a Saturday. Bet within your mean, people who bet too much only have themselves to blame. I guess you never play the lottery either. No.

Not all that glitters is gold. A lot of collateral damage along the way. Hi Ian Way off. Whatever you think of Ian he did work for the club for 20 years, and people like Ollie and Gerry Francis class him as a good friend. I guess they must be badly wrong about him?

Were you equally as outraged when the club announced all the sponsorship by alcohol companies? Surely you can't pick and choose which vices to be offended by.
As another poster says, gambling firms in sport are everywhere now, it was little surprise that one wanted to throw some money at Rovers.
Never suggested it wasn't a surprise. Been waiting for it for a while. Just personally disappointed. Not sure why people on this thread making such a big deal over a difference of opinion.

Afternoon guys, newly signed up on the Football Index news. As a gashead and Football index user i was really excited with the announcement. Its a really good up and coming brand. Ask me any questions if you wish to know anything about it. Although its classified as a gambling company, it very much markets itself as a stock exchange for footballers.

Not all that glitters is gold. A lot of collateral damage along the way. Like what? We seem to have a professional commercial director making what seem like good commercial deals and improving things from the whip round, favours for the boys mentality Shows how little you really know about the club then. Does life have to be so black & white? Tom G is special because he does some deals & holds a season ending event outside the club facilities. Everyone else is 'old boys network', amateur, unprofessional, and can be steam rollered over.

Not all that glitters is gold. A lot of collateral damage along the way. It's amazing how people can be against any change, if the club is going to grow change is inevitable. I'm guessing you don't like Mr G? Reap what you sow. Who picks up the pieces when he leaves for a bigger job, as he will.

I'm about to download Football Index and spunk my savings on Harrison's shares.
They'll fly up when he joins Blackburn/Ipswich/Real Madrid

Alcohol, like tobacco, are banned from kids replica shirts (not sure how the Sportsman got around that ban) I wouldn't be surprised if betting co's didn't join them in a few years time. Hopefully the front sponsor is a decent one if a betting co have had to accept the back of the shirt!   The press release states the sponsor will be on the back of Adult kits. I take it that means it won't be on kids kits. Bristol Energy are on adults so does that suggest there is a problem with gambling companies on children's shirts? If so, why? Genuine question.

Oh look, a mate of the great old boys network that got us to the verge of non existence, having a whine about the new guard who are seemingly taken the club places. Stick a cork in it sunshine, as per the 'ciders' it's all very droll.
