Nothing whatsoever, just innuendo and bad assumptions from our fans Just like usual then, basically the same bunch of people who clearly don’t like or trust the Al-Qadis and will interpret any and every little thing to further convince themselves and try to convince others that they’re doing no good and everything is going wrong. you summed it up perfectly

I can’t be arsed to read all this sh**e, was anything actually interesting or of any relevance said last night? And I don’t mean the dwarf and the most boring man in the world either! Nothing whatsoever, just innuendo and bad assumptions from our fans I'd say what's been written here is a pretty fair assessment of how the manager appears to feel right now.

The trouble is, he APPEARS to be on a downer in nearly every interview.

Thought the rugby guys came across well, especially the Bath coach.
Darren Way seemed to try to be one of the lads with his anecdotes.
LJ was okay but played down his Europa League comment by suggesting the question last year had been different to the one he expected (thought it was 5-10 years not in 5 years).
I did feel his comment to DC about how much he wanted for Luke Russe a bit crass.

So where is Knowall when you need him with his "news of something great that we will all be happy about". Perhaps he should ring DC and let him in on it because even he hasn't the foggiest. Its an absolute joke. And indeed Severncider with his 'DC had good news recently....worthy of 20 pages'.

Before criticising posters on here why don't you take the time to listen to the interview yourself and then draw your own conclusions?

If DC does have any good news he did a great job of hiding it.

He was publicly critical of the owners in a not so subtle way,its not smoke and mirrors its pure frustration and he feels let down without a shadow of a doubt. You or any other person don't have a clue what DC is feeling at the moment I think he is feeling very positive about the season and i fully expect he will get the backing of the family for a concerted push for promotion I have no evidence that he feels that way but my statement is just as valid as yours If you just look at the segment about the training facility its clear hes very unhappy with the current set up. Its also clear that he has no more idea than we do whats happening with the colony and that cant be a good thing. The next manager of the club will simply toe the company line and say everything is fine im sure of that.

The number of people who don’t like or trust the Al Qadis grows with every passing day that they don’t communicate, with every passing day that they fail to deliver on their previous promises. Goodwill towards them is diminishing not increasing and they only have themselves to blame. DC is clearly frustrated with them too. At one time they were almost universally loved but failure to deliver on the stadium and training ground and the top budget they were so vocal about and failure to communicate erodes trust, not for everyone obviously as we can see on here but for an increasing number. I believe that their situation / intention / attitude has changed and with it so has the attitude of those that work with them especially DC. If he goes or we have a bad season the atmosphere towards them will turn very poisonous and virtually all goodwill will evaporate. I’m sure that there will still be some flag wavers on here for them though!

I await his reply today and will communicate what he says later.

Why would a Championship side come in for a mid table Div 1 manager, it like us employing Darren Way if DC ever does leave! Although if we're really going nowhere as a club i guess it doesn't really matter if he leaves or not!! City employed Lee Johnson, Ipswich employed Paul Hurst, etc, etc DC has achieved 4 promotions in 6 years regardless of what level it was at, all before the age of 40. That's why clubs would be interested. The reason LJ got the City gig is obvious, Paul Hurst had an exceptional season last time around and was flavour of the month. DC has a outstanding CV in the lower leagues undoubtedly, but I'd be amazed if a Championship club came calling unless we were competing at the top end of the table.

As to your question, don't be despondent yet, things are happening in the background at Memorial Towers and will be revealed in due course. Even DC is not going to tell all on a radio programme.

If there is anything positive happening in the background, DC doesn't know about it at all. Strange that you seem to know more than our manager?
