So where is Knowall when you need him with his "news of something great that we will all be happy about". Perhaps he should ring DC and let him in on it because even he hasn't the foggiest. Its an absolute joke. Here I am! - other things to do you know. As to your question, don't be despondent yet, things are happening in the background at Memorial Towers and will be revealed in due course. Even DC is not going to tell all on a radio programme. Never trust a bloke that compares an instant coffee with a proper coffee from a proper coffee shop.

I think DC is playing to a fans audience, not the owners

Even DC is not going to tell all on a radio programme. If there is anything positive happening in the background, DC doesn't know about it at all. Strange that you seem to know more than our manager? DC is fully aware of what is happening in the background but publicly he has to be careful what he says.

I think maybe a month into the season it would be a good time to hold a fans Q and A event at the Mem. Give fans the opportunity to meet the new people at the club and to get an understanding of their roles and aims. Fans would get a chance to ask questions about things that are bothering them and the club would get valuable feedback on the new match day experience. I know there is a shareholders event, but that excludes a large section of the support. Just a thought to try and improve communication.

Its land we already own and have permission to build on it. If DC knows the plans will be submitted tomorrow, why would he not say? I don't understand the "must keep quiet" sort of mentality. The excuse of confidentiality is just a smokescreen for bugger all happening in my opinion.

Severncider and Henbury have responded accurately. Also, everyone at the Club are disappointed at the time the training ground is taking but things sometimes do take longer than anticipated for various reasons.

He doesn't even need to say that, all he needed to say was that he believes the owners are still progressing with the plans and from what he's been told he's was still hopeful we'll move before our present lease expires at Cribbs. I can't see why he needed to be so negative last night if good news is really around the corner, as he's helping to put a whole dampener on the start of the season.

So to summarise.
DC is miserable and fed up, but is expecting good news
and we may or may not be building a training ground
both may be linked, or possibly not
Clears as mud

Just like usual then, basically the same bunch of people who clearly don’t like or trust the Al-Qadis and will interpret any and every little thing to further convince themselves and try to convince others that they’re doing no good and everything is going wrong. The number of people who don’t like or trust the Al Qadis grows with every passing day that they don’t communicate, with every passing day that they fail to deliver on their previous promises. Goodwill towards them is diminishing not increasing and they only have themselves to blame. DC is clearly frustrated with them too. At one time they were almost universally loved but failure to deliver on the stadium and training ground and the top budget they were so vocal about and failure to communicate erodes trust, not for everyone obviously as we can see on here but for an increasing number. I believe that their situation / intention / attitude has changed and with it so has the attitude of those that work with them especially DC. If he goes or we have a bad season the atmosphere towards them will turn very poisonous and virtually all goodwill will evaporate. I’m sure that there will still be some flag wavers on here for them though! I’m still glad they bought the club when they did because we would have gone under I’m sure but I’m dissapointed that there’s no word on the training ground , our new stands haven’t been built yet, nothing being said about a completely new build and our manager doesn’t know his playing budget with less than a week until the season starts. To put it this way I was about 10% happy with the last board I was 99% happy when the new owners came in but I’m now only 50/50 and my faith and trust in them to run our club properly and treat us supporters and our manager fairly is falling by the day.
