Higher ticket prices. Higher bar prices. No early bird tickets. No communication whatsoever from the board to fans, even DC it seems apparently so. What's there not to get behind? Don't forget how promptly The Powers That Be moved to address the problem that was our award-winning match program. We should be grateful that having it win anything else might become less of a worry for us now! I like your thinking, sort of a 'now we are out of the cup at least we can concentrate on the league' way of dealing with the programme

It's all starting to fall apart from what I'm reading on here and Facebook It'll be interesting to see what happens over the next 6 days, It seems everyone is quite watered off at the moment, and they do have the capacity to correct / adjust certain areas of complaint.... Let's wait and see....

Let's not be negative.
Despite losing 4-0 at home, having no strikers, no news on the stadium or training ground, and rip-off prices, there are positives we can all celebrate:
1) DC is still here
2) ummmm.......

I have never moaned about the ALQ's before, but I am getting sick of this now. Time to get the cheque-book out or get out!

DON’T PANIC: Just the warm up to another roller coaster, let’s judge the Team, Manager and the Board after 10 league games.
This is our club, not a project, UTG

Pressure needs to be put on the board now to get their ducking wallets out. Prices up, best players out. Get your money out al qadis!! No excuses!

I agree, but let's give them chance, Ellis only just went and DC said it happened quickly. DC always plays games during the interviews and won't want to give anything away, to agents, clubs and players. Did he not say we wouldn't sell the snake for millions??
We can see they are improving the back room staff etc. Just paid a fee for the new left back, who will hopefully make a difference.
Next few weeks are vital now. If we sign 2 decent strikers, think the majority, will be happy for now.
Stadium etc will take longer. But why employ a new CEO etc, if he is going to have nothing to do?? Maybe they just can't talk about it at the moment.
Why appoint a head of recruitment, if we are not going to spend any money? We spent over £300,000 on Nichols. Which was more than we sold the snake for.
If nothing happens over the next few weeks,I will be the first to moan.

So at that stage, we had spent more than we made. Not had time to spend the Ellis money yet. But I expect the Bodin money has been reinvested already.

I just don't think the club have the money we thought they had, having to put up prices and sell players at the drop of a hat and promising training grounds that have not been realised coupled with a debt of 7-8 million pounds suggests to me that we are no better off than 10 yrs ago, our debt then was less. Debt is higher now but there again so is the expenditure on staff and the stadium. Only way I can see things improving is by getting the club into the championship which will bring in an additional 7 million a year of which some could be spent on stadium improvements, to do that we need a few more good signings, from what DC says that may not happen if he hasn't been given the money he requires. It is the usual problem with club that we never invest enough in our playing staff to allow us to progress.

Mathews is the one I'm most looking forward to this season. It was only about 5 years ago Manchester United were trying to sign the kid, so he must have something about him. Bournemouth reluctantly released him for the sake of his career and I think he could have an impact this season and we may struggle to keep hold of him sooner rather than later.

Horse before the cart, Corporate Rovers before the fans, ffs 4-0 drubbing at home to the Grecians, ridiculous west end prices before decent facilities, if Waq & Hani are not careful DC will put his career before evolution.

Hes got nice balance and a good left foot, similar on first viewing to kyle bennett. I think he will be a sub at peterbro though but rodman and upson will start.

One of the good things about him is his versatility as he can play on the left, right or in the centre, all positions he played in on loan for Eastleigh last season.

We must remember the owners have backed the manager. They allowed him to pay fees for nichols and sercombe. They financed bringing in craig and bennett in january. They funded bringing in experienced players upson and rodman this summer. All those players will be on good salaries and 2 of them cost transfer fees as well. Its not all good but its not all bad either surely?
