It's early days, so far so good for Bennett, let's see how they get on over the course of a full season.

I see it very differently. I haven’t seen many cope with Bennett in this league. And Craig has been better than many give credit. Not only has been decent or “ok” as you put it, but- Locks hit form once he joined the side.

Did you actually watch many games with him playing last season and his performance saturday? He plays like he has 2 bags of cement on his feet, not football boots.

Rio Ferdinand has won the premier league countless times and champions league. When age caught up with him he no longer could perform at the required level. Same for Craig. No doubt he has won a few medals at this level, but those were in his better days, and we could certainly use a bigger, sharper, quicker centre half than we have in him now.

A good player imo.

Loads of us looked like mugs the day before. We bought in 2 fantastic players that day. Slightly different scenario now though as we know our "first" choice striker has seemingly let us down, the question is do we have a second choice lined up and just how poor a scoring record will he now have given how poor Bako's was as there doesn't seem many decent strikers around for £200K mark. Rhys Healey looks to tick all the boxes so hopefully we can still get him on loan to go with the permanent signing.

I’m not unfrustrared but the dolly’s are continuously prematurely thrown from the pram. If on Friday we’re in a similar position as we are today then I might pick up my pitch fork too. But until then fans are backing themselves into a corner.

People whine about stuff, and if they're proved wrong, they just put it behind them and find something new to whine about.

Regarding craig and the back four in general if we concede lots of goals this season again the blame will be all darrell clarkes imo. Hes signed several players and is trying to sign a striker but it seems hes made a decision to stay with the centre-backs already at the club. If they struggle he wont be able to shift the blame elsewhere imo.
