Indeed. That from a bloke who was telling the owners to give DC money. I wont say what i really think if QPR was his real answer combined with his comments the other day QPR was his the answer that came out of his mouth. Does that mean it might not be his real answer? Just mean i didnt hear see it. Dont doubt what you say.

My respect for him has increased,he managed QPR until recently and knows the players so its obvious he would want them to win. Its an honest answer from a professional football man. How's it obvious, if he's supposed to be a Rovers fan? So if you had the opportunity to manage another club, you would prefer them to the gas after?? He couldn't be a big gashead, like he used to make out, if he can switch that easily. He’s a rovers and qpr fan . Managed them more recently knows the players , who cares anyway.

I lost admiration for this guy long ago - my signed autobiography and shirt at home used to be treasures but felt have meaningless to me for an age now. Just a journeyman manager that can’t cut it at the highest level, is bitter and is now out of touch. Time for the retirement home! 😜

As I said now just a clown who’s fu&!d up his last 6 or 7 jobs I wouldn’t have him back at Rovers in any capacity

Holloway lost his roots a long time ago, even going as far as praising the teds every time he came up against them.
He should really be backing us, as a gashead, but then again maybe he is hoping QPR will take him back at some point as he knows we couldn't afford him.

I love Ollie, great player for us and his team played some great football before exploding that end of season. He’s been gone for many years and I’m sure he’d be great at a comedy show but not as a manager for us now. So he said he wanted QPR to win. He’s there to cause a bit of ruction not for his measured reflective thoughts!! That’s Ollie. Anyway who cares. We lost need to concentrate on Shrewsbury now and hope Rodman wants to prove a point. UTG!

Another pompous post, isn’t it amazing how many pompous posts gaschat throws out. This is a forum for Gasheads to talk about any subject they like relevant to their football club and the people connected to it, if you aren’t interested in a subject because you think it’s beneath you, jog on. Oh me Oowwwwwwww! I get where you’re coming from but general chat would be appropriate for this sort of thread. No it wouldnt😂

He’s just been asked for a straight answer to a straight question by Colin Murray on the Quest highlights programme. Who did you want to win QPR or Bristol Rovers? The answer from the so say gashead legend? “QPR if I’m honest’ Not the answer I expected and my respect for him has just gone down several more notches. Was he wearing a tangerine tie when he said it?

Would you have him back as Director of Football though? No because he’s a manager not a DOF. There’s a massive difference. The other category is a Coach which I think DC falls into and could benefit from a DOF just like Paul Trollope did who was, and still is a coach.

Don't think Ollie would help...he's entertaining sure but as our manager no.

Really dissapointed to have read this, I grew up watching Holloway and hoped one day he might come back because of how passionate I thought he was about Rovers but not now, I think DC is more passionate about Rovers than Holloway. Even if we went down DC is the best thing about our club, my opinion of course
