It makes me laugh about what people say about other stadiums when we got a shithole stadium nothing to be proud about ? Agreed. And we can hardly claim that our "stadium" generates much of an atmosphere most of the time either. Big games yes, but then so do the new stadiums. We need a new ground if we want to progress. Simple as that. At the Mem, we are stuck in the dark ages and will sink further while others develop for the 21st century.

20 year anniversry of the South Stand looming.Makes me weep.Only Macclesfield worse than us and they are likely to drop out being bottom of Div two.On and on it goes with even the 'No news due to a confidentiaity agreement'crap no longer being peddled. Amused last season when we visited Molineux and some of our fans were saying they wouldn't want a Lego ground like theirs.'The three marquees it is then.

They said they are looking into a new site, but can't talk about it. Not saying it's true, but they are still saying it. It's almost the 20th Anniversary of them saying they are looking for a new site but can't talk about it. Different ownership, different board. They've been working hard for almost all of their first three years on UWE. Remember how Higgsy said the UWE deal was watertight? Bit like Theresa May said that we were leaving the EU on the 29th March. Whilst that could be leveraged against the Al Qadi's lets give them another chance to get things right when UWE isn't involved. On a similar note did I dream last night Steve Hamer is off or did I read that on Gaschat/elsewhere?

Not knocking our current lot but it's frustrating to say the least.

I hope you read it somewhere, otherwise if you are dreaming about Steve Hamer you seriously need to seek professional help !

I went to Slovan Bratislava Vs Dunajska Streda yesterday - it's the stadium's 2nd game and the attendance was 14,030 out of 22,500. Ok, I was on the side that was pretty full, but the stadium looked empty still: Attachment Deleted

If we can fill a fancy new stadium, then we should move heaven and earth to get one, but atmosphere wise, we're better off where we are. Revenue wise maybe not.

The old structure was condemned and had to be replaced.

It doesn't matter what was replaced or renewed........it's still a feckin tent ! Staggering that no part of the stadium is older than the East Stand, and most of it is considerably newer than that. We (or the rugger buggers) have spent millions on redeveloping the stadium in the last 30 years and we've ended up with one of the very worst in the league. What a waste of money.
