Many of the above, but 3-0 Kiddy away in the conference was a cracking day.

15 th Feb 1958 .City 3 Rovers 4. F A Cup. A banner was paraded around the pitch before K.O. saying,'Four more Geoff' a reference to Geoff Bradford having score 4 the previous week. Winning away at Mansfield with a late winner was good too as they had sent us out the league.Manse stood up to their thuggery tactics and Gos' went on a mazy run in the final minutes which was sheer beauty.Trouble was despite his silky skills he disappeared for long periods and at Telford hardly had a touch.

Reading away in 1999.
It was our first ever visit to Madejski Stadium and the ground had only had a few games played there before this day, so still had some teething problems and had lots of roadworks going on near the ground. It held me and my dad up in our car for the first 45mins.I think we took 5,000 fans there that day and I guess 500/1,000 were in the same boat as us and only got in at half time and when it was 0-0.
Anyway, we went on to win 0-6 with all the goals coming in the 2nd half!!๐๐
Next game that stands out is the last min goal for Beadle to make it 1-1 at Ashton gate when there fans ran of the pitch..

Chelsea a few years ago was great fun and good for club esteem. Got to meet loads of people I still go to games with.

Beadle Injury time equaliser at AG December 96 would be my favourite but thrashing Oxford 5-0 is a close second in I think March 2000, the near miss season

Hard to better some of the matches mentioned. I'll go for Man United away 1972 League Cup. Why? Rovers won 2-1 - Brucie Baby scoring just before the final whistle and George Best missing a penalty.

Maybe not the greatest away game but really enjoyed the 3-2 Cheltenham win when I think we were 2 down with only about 15 minutes left.

City 0 Rovers 2 (What out Beadle's about) Reading 0 Rovers 6 Derby 1 Rovers 3 (FA cup - Prem vs League 2 - The Duke's hat trick - We were the first Div 4 side to win at a Prem side in the FA cup) Oldham 4 Rovers 4 (3-0 in first half and the home fans taking the water next to us but ended 3-3 at half time)

That Oldham game, we were in Turkey at the time, we went down to the bar because they said they had English football on, guess what game they were showing!?
If I remember correctly we went 4-3 down early in 2nd half too?

At all the games mentioned so far! I'll add Lincoln away in Play Offs. Even with a healthy lead it felt that Lincoln were always in it. Stuart Campbells goal - one of the best ever! Iโd agree with that. Also Hartlepool just a week or two before that, and Fulham away also from the Trollope era (just purely for atmosphere). All three of those are up there for me as my best away games. As well as Southampton, so quite a few under Trollope! Mansfield first game of season (and Atkins first game) as well as being 2-0 down away to Torquay before coming back late to win. Oxford and Rammel, Derby. Probably loads more Iโve missed!

Fair few mentions for Beadle's genius, so for those of you that want to remember those happy days, watch this compilation . . .
I also just watched the Wembley penalties which came up next on YT, which may not be an away game as such but was a hell of a moment

Some great away days in the conference. Kiddy and Gateshead stand out. Fulham in the FA cup in 2008 and Beadle 2-0 teds also great games.

That hatrick Vs Bury, was a first half one scored in about 10 minutes if memory serves me right.

Hartlepool away when we made the playoffs. Travelled up with no tickets but got some in the pub. Gateshead away. Met Shearer in a curry house the night before, bumped into a boss man from work who paid for our dinner. Sure we were top of conference after winning. Blackpool....."borrowed" parents car but got away with it.

So many to choose from. Reading away for the Madejski massacre, 1-0 down 3-1 up at Trashton, Maine Road where Jamie Shore gave one of the best midfield performances I've seen in a Rovers shirt.
But top three for me: 1. Blackpool. Has to be. Memories that will live with me forever. My first Rovers promotion too. 2. Liverpool. What a night! Billy Ocean's volley. Leading at half time. Witnessing McManaman's brilliance was almost a pleasure too. Great night. 3. Bath City. Remember the cup tie when we played at Twerton but were drawn as the away side? All fans mixed together on terraces. The humour on those terraces. And a 5-1 win always helps!

would like to add 88/89 season Fulham 0-4 Gas in playoff second leg, I went to the game with home fans in the home end and celebrated the goals with no trouble at all
Brentford 2 - 6 Gas great vibe in the away end at that time (2000) but as we know it all went sour
Saints away 3-2 win with that great winner from Andy Williams

Sometime in the 1970s....we beat Reading 5-1 away. One of the few away games my Dad took me to; then the League cup quarter final defeat at Villa Park - OK we lost in the last minute, but was a fantastic night out. Taking the lead at Liverpool was amazing and as someone else said, watching McManaman's second half display was mesmerising; and the 3-1 victory over Derby - chose that game to take my daughter - what a great display from the Duke!
