What has been your favourite away game & why?
Mine is a relatively recent game in 2009 vs Southampton. Amazing atmosphere on a Tuesday night from a sell out away end & Williams scoring a screamer in the last few seconds to win it! (9 years ago today!)

At all the games mentioned so far!
I'll add Lincoln away in Play Offs. Even with a healthy lead it felt that Lincoln were always in it.
Stuart Campbells goal - one of the best ever!

As my 'handle' suggest the one i remember most is Halifax away 1962/3? had to win to stay in old third division, special train from Stapleton rd,through one grey northern town after another ,The Shay! (think the Mem is bad)so many stories about that day, 2-0 up ,2-2, then scored winner 3-2 and we survived ! and here we are 50 plus years later in about the same state! its fun being a Rover aint it folks!

Oh I thought it was the Halifax Town in Conference days, 2-2 and we missed a sitter at the end.....Ellis does his never seen before or since flick over and volley and I jumped on a steward in celebration. She was ok about it.

I’d agree with that. Also Hartlepool just a week or two before that, and Fulham away also from the Trollope era (just purely for atmosphere).
