Ollie Clarke more prolific than Snakey. Had a look through his stats and it looks like he's scored a grand total of 4 goals for them in the League.

Absolutely no different to Gas belter's phoning up Twentypence.
For what its worth, that useless midget hasn't done anything with his multi million pound squad.

Quality player for us too if he’s stayed we’d be up around the top six playing good football and he’d be adored by our supporters . Instead he’s freezing his arse off on the bench for that lot and going home to count his money. That’s football for you. Still, lansdown didn’t buy him for them he bought him to stop us, and it worked, the prick.

city haven't really invested much of the money they have made from transfer fees, and i fully think SL is waiting for a weaker league (if possible) without loads of investment from other (pretty huge) clubs before he presses the button....
He has the resources to do this....

Standard Teds. Couple of defeats and the "Johnson out" stuff starts. To be fair, we shouldn't kid ourselves that we are any different. Good to hear them whinging though! Seems to be a majority that want little Lee out though, whereas the majority here want DC to stay

Listening to the Ted's earlier winging about the dwarf is a bit like a wet fart after a curry, might make you laugh but also a very unpleasant. Ted's are always making a stink about something.

All over the country today at a variety of sporting events announcements were made that on the sound of the referees whistle a minutes silence would be held in honour of those who gave their lives for their country.
The same thing happened at ashton gate, well not quite, after a few seconds they all started clapping. If this wasn't so sad it would be funny but I'm struggling to laugh to be honest. How difficult is it to show proper respect in the requested manner?

Well the fans are bombarding poor old Geoff with Teds demanding Johnsons resignation. They complain about the constant change of tactics and players (sound familiar?) they booed the team off as they slip to 13th! how we wish we could slip up to 13th! But thats the thing is it not? If we were near the bottom of the premier league after a bad start to the season you and others would be on here screaming for the managers head. Its not just you thats pathetic, thats how it is nowadays.

Thankfully the majority are embarrassed they got it so seriously wrong.

A minutes silence is for reflection and remembering the sacrifices, particularly poignant 100 years on. A minutes applause is for celebrating the fact that we had men who stood up to defend our country at all costs. Neither is right or wrong it's how you want to honour those who gave their lives for our country.

Showing respect is showing respect. No one gets to police how someone feels they should show respect for something.
A spontaneous round of applause feels pretty respectful to me.

It can be in the appropriate circumstances but a minutes silence was requested in the time honoured fashion. It's not a case of individual freedom to express our feelings in the manner we feel each feel inclined. What next then, Led Zeppelin or ZZ Top at the Cenotaph tomorrow?
