One of the reasons i go to the same part of the ground is i can meet/chat/chew the fat with my fellow supporters who i have stood next to for many years... If i cannot do that, then that's another reason not to go and watch the game on ifollow if it's available FA Cup games aren't shown on iFollow. So do you want the club to waste money on stewards etc just so you can meet up with your mates? Personally I'd sooner that money be spent on a new striker in January!

Unlike some people i will go to all Rovers home games i can including the chuck a trade games. i will go to this game and i will get tickets for my fellow friends near me because as you say the club needs all the money it can take... If the club needed money why not shut other parts of the ground and just put us all in the blackthorn end. that would make a good atmosphere

I for one won’t be going,I’m in the East Stand. There must be loads not going because this area is closed.Other years I would never miss a cup game but this year they’ve shut this stand- I’ve decided for every game they shut my stand I won’t be going- lots of revenue lost- sign of the times I’m afraid.UTG.

Seems like an excuse for not going if it’s purely because your stand is closed.
It’s a bit naff but better than wasting a whole load of money unnecessarily.
Seems like these people were on the fence anyway.

Course they could have just made it a reduced price to attract a large crowd!? Or even free to ST holders!?

Personally when I go to watch Rovers, I go to do just that, and I can see the match from any stand in the ground. My usual place is in the West Terrace, but I've also watched from the Blackthorn, South Stand and East Terrace, and enjoyed the experience all the same from any of those. Frankly those deciding not to go purely because their usual place won't be available, I find ridiculous. But then it's each to their own and my opinion shouldn't sway anyone else from theirs.

Well, if you East stand and South stand types are planning on entering the Blackthorn end then beware. Us dogs can be very territorial and I won't put up with anyone standing in my usual space. I'm a season ticket holder and I demand that nobody tries to push me away from my usual spot
