Is he a Mounted Policeman then? Should get a good view from up there! "brings back memories of PC Julie"..... At the risk of incurring Hugo's wrath, we never got a resolution on this, despite the officer concerned promising a thorough investigation and disclosure at its conclusion. A cynic may allege that a Police Officer who is a City fan investigating her own fans behaviour, would ensure that any findings allegedly detrimental to said fans would be quietly forgotten and filed away. ALLEGEDLY! Did you ever hear anything Henbury?

After our "conversation" i have not had any contact with PC Julie, even after the e-mail i sent to both of them outlining further information about the incident she requested. Also the other gentleman interviewed sent further information about the gentleman concerned which he did not get any reply I think this matter needs to be put to bed as its obvious nothing will ever come of it except further emotional postings from all parties. I also believe PC Julie is either about to retire from the force or has done and i wish her well in whatever she ends up doing.

I think PC Julie was a transgender ted who has nothing to do with the Police ( I hate that word). I will go to watch Barnet, I bet its 0-1

One of the reasons i go to the same part of the ground is i can meet/chat/chew the fat with my fellow supporters who i have stood next to for many years... If i cannot do that, then that's another reason not to go and watch the game on ifollow if it's available Well presumably if you can't watch from your normal vantage point neither can your mates, or are they going to get special dispensation to go there and only you are excluded? Surely it is not beyond the work of man to liaise with your mates and arrange to all go to the same part of the ground that is open?

I would have stood on the West Terrace if I wasn't away with work; hopefully those attending can cheer on the team to some form of win against Barnet.
Shades of the Friday night game I missed due to my daughter getting married in the Saturday; a Ryan Brunt (collectors item) goal if my memory serves me right?

Sorry, I had inferred from your post that you were not going to attend at all. I understand your point but I also understand why the club would do this, they are by far not the only club to close parts or complete sections for cup games, QPR and Birmingham City come to mind in recent years, I think it's a pretty standard thing for clubs to do when a low attendance is expected (and as previous posters have noted, there is no reason to assume this tie will be any different). I guess with the current situation re the owners, some people will always seize upon some action or other, hence your point about giving people a reason not to go, but personally I think it's a pretty weak argument and comes across as another stick with which to beat the owners.

When I was at the club shop yesterday, some old bloke there was trying to buy three tickets for his place in the West Stand. When told the West Stand was full up, he decided not to bother. I think he needed a seat coz he was quite old, and was obviously very disappointed he had the most expensive season ticket in the ground but couldn't get cup tickets. He'd obviously gone to the effort to get to the Mem to buy his tickets, and had a wasted journey. So istm that's a genuine case of the fans not being served, and not someone (except me, now, I guess) simply whining on the internet or bashing the club.

Probably had some cyber snowflake "hate" crime to catch up on. I think we all know that she and the Sh1!heads would have been all over this like flies round sh** if it had been proven that you were lying. The Bristol City branch of A&S Police strikes again.

Was there a deadline for ST holders to claim their seats for this game? If not, a very poor job by the club as in my opinion West stand st holders should have had prority and any left over places should have gone to east stand st holders.

Afaik, there was no priority period. Although as an East Stand ticket holder, I'd have been upset not to get tickets in the West Stand coz they decided to close the East Stand. Basically trying to get a quart into a pint pot.

We really couldn't at present organise a p155 up in a brewery, surely if you pay top price for a West Stand, premier(?), season ticket then you should be given first choice on whether you retain it for cup games or not? Just selling every seat randomly to all s/t holders seems bizarre to me.

I see Barnet won 3-1 at Hartlepool on the weekend. I feel disaster coming.

I was in the club shop at about half-past two on Saturday. There was a queue of people waiting to buy tickets for the Barnet game. The West Stand was already sold out so those trying to buy for the East or West Stand were being offered tickets in the SW Stand at £10 for adults, instead of the £15 that they were willing to pay to sit in their preferred stand.
