The worrying thing is the size of the crowd tonight.
Sorry, I was one of those not bothering and by the sound of it I made the right decision.
I hate to think of the crowd for the Gillingham game, especially if we lose on Saturday.

Sad to see the decline in the value of the FA cup in supporters eyes more than anything.

I still love the fa cup, but I don't love this team, I think that's got more to do with it - and that we've been useless in the fa cup under dc.

I'm afraid there are 3 season tickets that are going to gather dust for a while. Scrappydoo lost interest at the start of the season and, after the Scunthorpe game I have also lost interest. I didn't go tonight and I'm glad I made the right decision. Myself and Mrs Scoobydoo will be taking a break for a while. I just can't justify the crap feeling after every game. I saw every home game in the season we went down to the Conference but this is worse.

I reckon we may struggle to get 7k for the Gillingham game.

Last Saturday they announced an 8k+ crowd, but I don't believe it, the South stand was half empty and there were gaps in all the terraces. And to think they did all those changes and up the cost of anything hot to £4 to give DC more money. He doesn't need more money, because he wastes it. And no I will not be going to the Gills either, it was a struggle to go to Scunthorpe. The 2 lads stood next to me that said if they hadn't have bought season tickets they wouldn't have gone either either

To play devil's advocate here, the club took major strides this season to turn us from supporters into customers. Customers, of course, are well within their right to decide they don't like the quality of the product that is being offered and so they can see if they get superior quality elsewhere or simply spend their hard earned money doing something more fulfilling. You pays yer money and you takes yer choice, as they say.

But there's something about football and its grass roots that make us feel a little more than just customers, albeit not always loyal ones.

I saw every home game in the season we went down to the Conference but this is worse. No, it's really not. Whether it is actually worse or not, I have to say, that for the final 15 minutes on Saturday after Scunny went 2-1 up it also reminded me 100% of the relegation (to the Conference) season. Being a Gashead means you are always living in a world of hope rather than expectation, which is fine when the team on the pitch can always give you that bit of hope, that need to stay right to the final whistle, when the team make that big push but just can't quite get the ball over the line... but there is always that hope that they could. In the last 15 minute of Saturday, just like the relegation season, all that hope was gone, there was absolutely nothing to indicate that we could get something, not even a spark to give us some urgency, something to get momentarily excited about, and that is when it all falls apart for me. I'm not going to ditch my season ticket or anything like that but it will be a long tedious, frustrating, boring, disappointing and Saturday-wasting season if things don't improve.
