You are clearly not a fish keeper there is Tail rot, fin rot, cotton mouth and dropsy, never heard of head rot Mike Trout was a centreback, not a keeper. WYHHB

How many goals have we conceded from water poor , schoolboy defending which have cost us those games? On paper the defence may well be pretty good but that is no good when the winning goal comes from poor defending. Statistics mask a thousand faults. Not forgetting Bonham makes....,😉 Careful, you'll have LJG and GGMI all over this thread in a minute. I can’t be dealing with those two, Chewbacca is bad enough. I’m logging off😉

The fish rots from the head. The owners and the board collectively must take responsibility for the lack of direction and vision for the future which sadly has effected the budget and then the mojo of the management and playing squad. DC however identifies the players and picks the team so he also must share the responsibility for where we are in the league. It’s a bit like an aeroplane crash (thought it was apt given the landing lights were on) When it hits the floor that is normally the result of a collection of events in sequence often days prior, the crash is just the seen result and the pilots know they are gonna hit the floor. Right now we know we are going to be relegated, and we can see the sequence of events as to why, it’s just weather we can rectify them quickly, starting this week and in Jan. You are clearly not a fish keeper there is Tail rot, fin rot, cotton mouth and dropsy, never heard of head rot Aha, but you must be a Freshwater Keeper. In the Saltwater world we have HLLE (Head and Lateral Line Erosion Disease) ! It is often called Hole-In-The-Head Disease.

But that can be just as complicated, as some fish change gender as well ! You've seen Finding Nemo? In reality, when it was just him and his Dad left, one of them would have changed into a Female, and then they would have started to breed........think about that for a few seconds.

Nonsense, we have the fourth best defensive record in the league. Before you come back with "Oh but Bonham has made loads of saves", he's a member of the defence. How many goals have we conceded from water poor , schoolboy defending which have cost us those games? On paper the defence may well be pretty good but that is no good when the winning goal comes from poor defending. Statistics mask a thousand faults. Not forgetting Bonham makes....,😉 The problem is emphatically not the defence though. Only two teams have scored less than us. That's literally the problem

We're not a fish though, we're a football club. I accept that indecision and ambiguity from the top can affect morale but in the grand scheme of things, we're not in crisis. Blackpool have been an absolute mess and a total shambles off the field yet sit outside the play-offs on goal difference.

I see it as a joint issue. The Owners for not supporting enough with a "little" bit more money (not millions) re Training ground and budget for January. The Board for lack of direction and engagement. Lastly SOME of the players (we know who you are) who fail to give 100%. They may have got away with it at other clubs, but you will not hid under the table here !
I do not blame DC as he is the only one to engage and give 110%.

Although management and coaching may have to take some of the blame for some of the forward play this season.

I don't think you can blame the fans for the team's poor position in any way whatsoever. But I certainly think we've become entitledgiven the 4 years we've had under DC. A poor run was always going to come at some point, but obviously some people can't accept that.

Players. Nicholls, Payne, Reilly, Rodman, Craig and Upson all should have been good buys and all cost money.
You can't blame the owners for them being sh1t after they've stumped up the cash to pay for them.
You can blame DC for continuing to play our "best" striker for a year with a big fat zero in his column but then again plenty on here agree with that decision.
But no - the players are not performing it's as simple as that.

So if you are a player and been promised: training ground/stadium/push for promotion etc and all those things do not come to fuition, hpow do you feel? Put another way if you are at work, and you are promised a pay rise, better working conditions, nice new office/van etc and those things don't happen, how would you feel? Still want to give your heart and soul to the company?
Most players are on 2 year contracts at most, would they really worry about the fact we've not got pp for a training ground etc? I still think league position wise losing Harrison, after Bodin/Taylor was a big blow as we're usually only one goal short in most games. So far Payne has been a bit of a disaster signing. Not sure who you blame for Payne, Rodman & Upson being so poor, the players, the manager, not sure you can blame the owners/BoD? Been saying this all season. People are blaming the board for us being 4th from bottom but nobody seems to know that our playing budget has decreased for sure. DC has signed a hell of a lot of players pre season and none of them apart from Bonham ( loan) have done anything consistently well. That’s not the boards fault. They haven’t given us a new stadium and they haven’t given us a new training ground yet either so no different from any other board in my lifetime.
