So the chance for everyone to play football manager now. Especially you DC haters.
Who would your 5 players in vs your 5 players out?
You also have the option to send back 1 of your season long loan players to make it 6.
Must be realistic and only suggestions for permanent transfers can be players with more than 6 months on their contract but not regular starters for their current first team or players with 6 or less months to run on their contracts which make them a possible target or free transfers.
You can make as many loan signings as we are allowed to name in any 1 matchday squad to top up your allocation.
Then layout your formation with your new signings in place.
Over to you.

Based on our budget. I'd sign on Marcus Stewart as a playing member of staff

If we could get some sort of salary discount we could do a lot worse than sign matty taylor and ellis harrison on loan. Harrison is fit but seems on the fringe at ipswich and possibly taylor is injured as he was not in their squad today. All i know is they are much much better than any strikers at the club right now.

Out: Upson, Nichols, Smith, Martin, Holmes-Dennis (unless fit asap). Sercombe on the left wing. Payne and Nichols up front together. DC’s post badge tactics and defensive approach.
In: Slocombe 6’3+ Centre forward (or Ellis Harrison loan) 6’3+ Centre back (Flint / Burn type, no nonsense) Any in form goal scorer from L1/L2/NL Winger Old DC attacking football with wingers and players in correct positions.

Couple of names straight off the top of my head of players who would actually be feasible signings:
Reuben Reid from FGR Ben Woodburn on loan from Liverpool

Not usually one for players returning but Monty seems to be in good form up at Port Vale.
Hope we're looking to bring back Ellis and I wouldn't be against Reuben Reid.

Any of 6 or 7 of the squad out apart from Sercombe/Lockyer and try to keep Bonham.
I'm not sure about the restrictions you've indicated, but any of the following players in on a loan or permanent basis if possible:
Right Backs; Tom James (Yeovil), Jordan Williams (Barnsley), Aaron Lewis (Swansea), Tariq Lamptey (Chelsea), Aitor Bunuel (Racing Santander), Juanjo Nieto (Hercules), Juho Hyvarinen (RoPS)
Centre Backs; Cian Bolger (Fleetwood), Jon Guthrie (Walsall), Sam Hughes (Leicester), Cian Harries (Swansea), Marc Guehi (Chelsea), Zech Medley (Arsenal), Kyle Howkins (West Brom), Israel Puerto (CD Mirandes).
Central Midfielders; Mark Sykes (Glenavon), Bryn Morris (Shrewsbury), Ryan Yates (Nottingham Forest), Alessandro Mastalli (Juve Stabia), Alessio Miceli (Feralpisalo), Nick Brisevac (Eintracht Norderstedt)
Wingers; Arvin Appiah (Nottingham Forest), Stephen Walker (Middlesbrough), Bright Osayi Samuel (QPR), Charlie Kirk (Crewe), Harry Forrester (Tractor Sazi), Marcus Mendler (Saarbrucken), Accursio Bentivegna (Carrarese).
Strikers; Niall Ennis (Wolves), Rushian Hepburn-Murphy (A Villa), Danny Loader (Reading), Aaron Connolly (Brighton), Adam Idah (Norwich), Elias Sorensen (Newcastle), Aldin Turkes (Rapperswil-Jona), Rufat Dadashov (Prussian Munster), Valmir Suljemani (Waldorf Mannheim).

I second the notion of giving the lads a chance.

I have said many a time on here we have a development squad and its time to give some of them a chance although i would like Ellis back on loan, as besides his efforts on the pitch he would give the whole club a lift especially the dressing room which must be a depressing place at the moment, he is just the kind of influence DC needs around the place, other than that give Baghdadi, Moore, Russe, and co there wings and let em fly,you have to trust them, nowt to lose now and so much to gain, they will be fresh ,hungry, and not have the burden of failure that the current midfield and forwards have on there backs, meanwhile keep the faith Gas eds ,we will pull through with THE CURRENT MANAGER!

Dont think its a case of five out for five in, more like five out to be able to afford two in

The problem is, it's the current manager who keeps picking those failing players.
Fair enough that some signings don't work out, that happens to every manager but Craig and Nichols have played nearly every game.
I can't for the life of me understand why he insists on picking either of them. You know exactly what you are going to get from them.

It's not about how good we look, it's about how likely we are to score. Not any less likely with him in and out the team If that is true we might as well apply to be relegated now to save ourselves the embarrassment of having to play the games because we ain't gonna win any.

It is true do you think we’ve looked any more likely to score when he’s been out? Our style of play lack of wing or creative midfield means we have half chances and not one of our strikers looks like taking them.

Need someone like Steve Morrison battlers Andy Rammell types not shrinking violets. We are at War now to stay up. Jay spearing at Blackpool to run the midfield but we have 30 midfielders already. Luke Russe get him in again. Keep Bonham or get another good loan in in January.
