Cheap yes man incoming! DC was a player or two from getting us into the Championship via play-offs pre-Snake sale - he wins all his play-offs finals! Gutted! Can you get a refund on season tickets?!?!? I’ll buy it for my son ?

Let@s be honest this has been coming for quite a Wael. Lets cut out all this bollucks of protesting by not attending. That will get us nowhere. Based on results the owners have made the right decision and probably if anything they have been more than fair given the time they have given DC to turn it around. Lets get behind the club as this could well be the test of the owners intentions so lets give them the chance to name the new Manager and see where it takes us. To boycott the club will take us one place RELEGATION. The new man now has a few games before the January Transfer to decide what stays and what goes and maybe just maybe a bit of consistency in Team Selection. Lets remember that our club could easily have gone into administration under the Higgs Regime so lets give the owners a chance to see what their intentions are. It just might be the right decision. They gave the bloke £150k in 18 months and sold Bodin Harrison Gaffs . Its clear that major cut backs are kicking in. It all started so well just under 2 years ago but something somewhere as changed!

That's me done. Starting to regret this season's season ticket anyway. It might do us good for the short term but long term is definitely a bad move for us. I really think this is the beginning of the end of my love affair with Rovers. Thanks Al Qadi's, really appreciate it. Why don't you do us all a favour and just f**k off. Bye bye Ggmi delete your account

I was talking to my ex colleague last night who has links to Newport County back staff and he was saying that there was talk there that the manager might be off to us, then I read this this morning.
Could be rumours, but it would suit the ‘league two budget’
Absolutely devestated though.

Gutted by this news after everything Darrell has done for this club.
His last interview showed how much he cares, is frustrated by the running of the club and how he wears his heart on his sleeves.
His recruitment this season was shocking though and the team just hasn't worked.
It's a results business as they say so I could see this coming, with the outburst after the Donny game the writing was on the wall.
Still disappointed that WAQ and the board have seemingly vanished from the face of the earth when things started going badly.
Personally I would have allowed Clarke to attempt to sort out the playing side/squad in January with the premise that if it didn't work he was out, but that is football.
As for next manager please NOT Cotterill! Cannot stand the guy and after his comments about us when he was at the Sh*t....
Realistic targets? Well Holloway will be up there with the bookies Paul Hurst? Lee Clark? Phil Brown? Kevin Nolan (Please no!)? Darren Ferguson? a certain Mr Buckle is looking for a job..... I'll get my coat
Can't say I'm overly enamored with the list of "Available" managers, perhaps look to pinch someone from an up & coming club? Cowley brothers from Lincoln for example, not that we'd get them, but as an example.
Inevitably though it'll be Stewart & Hargreaves until the end of the season....

Another stealth website announcement. They really don't like fronting up do they? From what we know of the regime so far, they are unprepared, clueless and give jobs to their mates, so expect a month without a manager before Wael finally gives it to a friend of his who has just got into coaching and fancies some work experience til the end of the season. Thanks for everything DC. In many ways it's probably for the best but the manner and timing is really disappointing. I hope there is some sort of formal opportunity for fans to give him some sort of send off rather than this shambles. I'm not joking when I say that DC could no doubt do a couple of very well attended Q&A evenings to hear his thoughts on the current regime and also anecdotes about his time in football. "Stealth website announcement". Please explain how other clubs announce when their Manager leaves?

awful awful day for all.
good for DC in a way though because wow he did look tired, depressed, angry and everything.
he will go on to be a good manager somewhere else. i just wish it could have been him who took us up further. that is what he wanted. he just wanted us to be successful. he really did. he wanted decent facilities, that's all. and to be able to retain players.
the rest is bullshit.

Sorry to see DC go. You had a great 3 or 4 seasons that can never be taken away from you ! But NO manager and NO owner is bigger than BRFC. Sadly the ever-shrinking BRFC. God or whoever help us !!
Would be happy with Paul Hurst - he got The Shrews out of trouble and on to much better things in the space of a couple of seasons.

Sounds a bit like he wanted to go, from that statement. I know 'mutual' decisions are often not mutual, but it's hard to get a feel for what actually happened from that. I'd say he wanted to go. Turning down Leeds with the promise of a new stadium, new training ground and bigger budgets, not having to sell our best players etc. Just for it all to be a lie. nail on head.

What a tragic shame it ended like this.
The best manager for 30+ years, still young and with a great career ahead, leaves us.
How the f*cking f*ck was that allowed to happen??

DC ,Steve Yates ,Keith Brookman , Nick Day all the passion for Bristol Rovers is slowly being drained away ! Is there anyone left with the passion and drive these people had for Rovers left I've been giving information about this for ages and mainly been getting negativity. we are run by non-gasheads. most of whom were never even interviewed for the job / role.

Would be happy with Paul Hurst - he got The Shrews out of trouble and on to much better things in the space of a couple of seasons. And got Ipswich relegated in about ten weeks.
