Gutted he has gone. Truly gutted.
As fans I think we should somehow thank him for what he has done for our club over the past 5-6 years.
Any ideas how we can do this?

I searched online but he doesn't seem to have a personal channel for fans to say something to him; maybe a player knows? Or a former player, like Harrison? idk, I really wanna send DC a quick message.

I am involved with sponsorship at the club and have been lucky enough to meet DC a few times. I too want to send him my personal thanks for what he has done at our club.
I have asked Tom Gorridge what the best avenue is to contact DC now and I will update this thread as and when I hear back.

He's gone - totally out of his depth in this league, he's left us with a poor team that has relegation written all over it - move on and support the next Manager whoever he is - he's going to need all the luck and support going to get us out of this mess. A mess created solely by Mr Tinkerman and his inadequacies - IMO he should have gone months ago. He'll move on to his next club with a big fat wedge in his back pocket (thank you very much BRFC) - the price for failure. Do I feel sorry for him - not at all - I'm sure he'll have a lovely Xmas.

Wow, a rather entitled fella we have here. DC won 2 promotions- whether you liked him or not that’s worth a “thank you” This thread wasn’t set up to bring debate about the decision. It was to say thanks- Im thirty, I only have strong memories of Holloway onwards and thus I can only remember promotions under Trolls and DC. Quite Frankly without DC-I might have lost interest. With 1 promotion and 2 relegations in 15 or so years before I’d be forgiven for chucking in the towel. Its hard to defend his recent record. And as much as I’d kept him on. I understand and accept the otherside. But I don’t get what offends another Gashead about wanting to wish the man well. You seem bitter and (assumptious) that DC is getting a big payoff: - this is an assumption, not fact. - if true; good for him, he earnt it. He could’ve had more money at Leeds but stayed. There weren’t many sane people saying that contrac5 was anything but right.

Yeah, I imagine he will have a great christmas as he won't have to turn up on boxing day and have to listen to lady gardens who know nothing about anything talking bollox behind him. If only I could get out of going to the in-laws, as well.

Wow. What an ungrateful, self-opionated post that is. Not worthy of a full response. See what Madgas says. Completely inappropriate. Opinions are not always best expressed.

Two very comfortable seasons in League 1 suggest he has never been out of his depth. He will go on to better things and, just like we did with players such as Lambert and countless others before him, lots of us will take great pride in those achievements.
