I went for Paul Hurst, it was a toss-up between him and Mark Warburton.
Russell Slade got 3 votes!!!! WTF?

By popular demand: Who do you want to be the next manager of BRFC? I think you can have three votes each. Can I change mine please AF 3 for sir Danny Murphy 😁 If you re reading this crazy Steve you have permission to steal my idea and no one will ever know 🤩🤩

I would like to see Holloway until the end of the season and then maybe this guy or another young dynamic coach like Danny Cowley take over. If we are going for experience as a long term appointment then for me I would go with Warburton. Not a chance Danny Cowley would join us I'm afraid. I know. However, If he got offered the same contract DC was on then I'm pretty sure he would. Depends on whether the board would a) offer the same terms b) he fancies a change c) we could afford compensation on top.

If we are going for experience as a long term appointment then for me I would go with Warburton. A Holloway/Garner partnership until the end of the season could work, with Garner appointed permanently as manager in the summer. But at the same time, I would have more than enough confidence in Garner to appoint him on his own in the role. I think he is a very impressive character and is going to make an excellent manager in his own right.

Personally I wouldn't want Holloway back. 3 reasons, first I believe it is wrong to go back, the return of Gerry francis showed us that, Secondly he wants money to be successful, and we don't have it. And he talks bollox

He still talks bollox though He doesn't need anything to be successful because he isn't successful anymore. When was the last time Holloway did well? Blackpool?

If you look at Ollies last job at QPR he actually had to sort out the mess created by Tony Fernandes and co, have a good clear out and rebuild the squad using some home grown talent.
As usual the boards of clubs expect instant success but the club was on a steady trajectory

I see Hurst is now ahead of Ollie in our poll.
My head says that's sensible, but my heart says get Ollie back to the Mem and just imagine the atmosphere and the effect it would have on the players!

I'd go for an internal appointment - Coughlan with Hargreaves and Mansell assisting until the end of the season. If they avoid the drop give them permanent roles in the summer. If we go down, bring in Flynn or Edinburgh - both doing well in lower leagues with good experience of League 2.

Really don’t see why Hurst is second on our poll. DC’s best man is hardly going to come here after what’s happened
Holloway till the end of the season wouldn’t be the end of the world as things can’t get much worse, but long term we need to think forward. Doubt Ollie would come here under the current ownership either

See I think we desperately need ‘fresh eyes’ on it,as it were.Dont think any internal appointment/combination will be enough to see us safe.More chance of shaking these players into action with new ideas in training and in matches.Grab the bull by the horns please whoever has the ultimate say.
