It gets worse lads. All I'm seeing on twitter is "Jonson Clarke-Harris is a striker with fantastic hold-up play and a brilliant target man, he could thrive playing next to a goalscorer." HE WAS MEANT TO BE OUR GOALSCORER FFS If his hold up play and ability as a target man are as good as they say it is, he will turn either Reilly, Jakubiak or Nichols into a goal scorer, they’ve been crying out for a bigger striker to support them. We’re just going to have to go with what we’ve got and pray that it is enough.

Payne has a better goalscoring record at this level than Clarke-Harris. Roarie Deacon released by Dundee, pirate. Could be a better option than what we have got?

The guy is a total fraud ... pal of Clarkes who should have been shown the door when the manager left. Hang your head in shame along with the manager who has been shown to have very few contacts and no ability to bring in any quality despite his vast knowledge of the league. No words are good enough to excuse this debacle. dont forget he got his son a shot at the club too and he’s meant to be dog cack too I knew he was a chancer when he signed his son- not a good look. His actual track record in the job hasn't proved me wrong. 'Just sign anyone connected to coventry'- great policy. In fact, was it Widdrington who brought him to Coventry on loan?

And to think we were linked with Brett Pitman, a guy who can actually score goals.

The budget was fully spent. Coughlan moved players out to make room for incoming players just as he told us he needed to. He then brought in players using the newly available cash to pay 3 players wages and the fee for the striker. The owners have provided a middling league one budget within the league one version of FFP. I think the owners have provided plenty enough team funding to be safe from relegation this season. The new manager has begun rebuilding the team with his own players with the budget available to him. I dont understand the hysterical negativity about the january window by some on here.

We must nearly have more staff than players now. Funny how none of them have been affected with the supposed cost cutting?
A CEO and a chairman and a head of recruitment who only knows players from his previous club.
