"Never been to the Memorial, will be doing League and Cup. Very excited as this is going to be a very old fashioned stadium"
I hope they don't get their hopes up too much.

Give them the whole ground and we just have the family stand.... we don't need much space with all the fans who are boycotting this game

A forward move from the club !. This will work and the club needs to give Luton Charlton Barnsley as many tickets as they can...

Hopefully our ground will have the same impact we had when we rocked up to Braintree in the conference.
Will certainly show them how far they have fallen. Must be desperate for success to travel in numbers for a water-take trophy game....

The money won’t be spent on the team etc straight in the pockets of the owners.

They know this'll be the last cup they'll ever win the massive bunch of hard skin coatings formed during the wound healing reconstruction phase

Is that the same pockets that paid out over £2m + in losses ?

Sunderland took 1,500 to Morecambe for one of the group games. On that evidence, they are certainly not boycotting the competition.

Once they sold out the 2000 give um South/west tent too . Plus we are down 1200 on average attendances so it makes full sense to increase away fans to readdress this loss ( other big clubs ). The club have got a few things right in the pass week !.

Understand where you're coming from but I have never gone to watch Rovers to be entertained. It's great if we play well but at the end of the day, I want us to win. So, even though I don't like the competition and like many others, worry about the longer term consequences, I will be following the game and hoping that we win. I imagine that the players are up for it and therefore, the fans need to get behind them to enable them to perform to the maximum of their ability. Winning breeds confidence and we need that right now.

Sunderland took 1,500 to Morecambe for one of the group games. On that evidence, they are certainly not boycotting the competition. Because they don't understand and/or care about the risk that this competition format normalises B teams playing lower league First team competitions. They don't see themselves staying down here long enough to be affected.
