Since GC took charge of Rovers he has lost 4 games in all competitions with 3 of those defeats coming against Sunderland.
His record in the league has been
6 wins 5 draws 3 defeats (Sunderland x2 & the Wycscum cheats)
That's 23 points from 14 games which is 1.64 points a game. Over a season that equates to 75 points which is play off standard.
Given where we are in the table we would likely expect to lose two league games to promotion chasing Sunderland but what it does show is that we have only lost one of the other 12 games with most of those 12 games being against teams around us. Those are the teams that we must take points off and we are doing that. We still have Wimbledon, Bradford, Rochdale, Gillingham to play so if we can take good points off those teams then the confidence level for league one survival will be high.
So come on GC and come on Rovers. Maintain this form and give us something to cheer at the end of the season.

Deserves a lot of credit. Completely transformed results and performances from individuals and it's firing us up the table at present. We need to keep it up though given how tight it is around us and the form of other teams.

It’s a great record and I also love the way he gets the table up on the wall in the dressing room for since he took over and not the complete league 1 table. The players are looking up at it and seeing us in the top six. That’s a great piece of motivational man management and keeps everyone positive and believing that they are a top six side. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Would like to see a side he has assembled, stay up and he will virtually have a clean slate for next season not many under contract, TW said that in a previous interview.

My biggest worry about the summer is lines is a year older and sercombe is out of contract and may well leave. The rest of our midfield are all get it and give it players without much creativity. We probably needed to bring in a replacement for lines this season to bed him in so we’ve got a gradual transition but haven’t and if we don’t bring in a playmaker next window then the midfield will look awfully ball winner strong without any playmakers.

That is the worry. But GC has said all along that the squad was too big and I somehow think that he will be happy that he can start again with a few going. If CL isn’t playing at the moment then I think it’ll be unlikely that he’s a first choice next season. We’ve had an imbalanced squad this year, too much quantity and not enough quality. It could be an interesting Summer but first of all secure our League 1 place and then go again. UTG!

I may be wrong but weren’t Smith and Slocombe both signed for two years? Don’t know where Bonham would go. We must be an attractive choice. If he goes to a Championship club he wouldn’t be first choice but he may be paid a lot more. I guess it may depend upon how he sees it, play for less money with us or sit on the bench and get paid a lot more. UTG!

Graham Coughlan has done well so far and, in JCH at least, has shown that he can make good signings.
However, let's exercise a degree of caution here. We are a long way from being safe in this league and if we do go down, it is hard to envisage him being here next season.
If we stay up however, he deserves and will get plenty of credit. He will have earned the right then to develop the squad with his players. His challenge will be to introduce a more attractive style of football, particularly at home.
So far though, a cautious 'well done GC'.

He never got us into the mess we are in, I love DC but from January 2018 we were dire that is why the bookies knew we would struggle, I fully expect him to keep us up and Dampy lewis will carry him down the Gloucester road after the Barnsley game, look at the away form under DC it was dreadful. GC will only get better, and love his work ethic.

I hope and believe he will keep us up. My point is that, if he doesn't he will have no trackrecord to suggest that he is the man to take us forward. I think he will keep us up though, and then the challenge is to improve the style of play next season. For that, he will need to either trust Lines or bring in some creativity and get us playing the ball on the deck a little more, particularly at home.

Agree with what you say don't think Linesy will get a new deal so we need to find that creative spark, think GC will offer more attractive football once we are safe, we are too narrow at home however not sure he trusts what we have in that department, interesting time ahead.
