Strange cos he also played a full 90 mins for his team on Saturday but I bow to your knowledge. Hopefully he does play. Considering he played on Saturday, you might be right. I saw this tweet and should have double checked. I just hope Marek Citko gets on, he's still about isn't he?

Interestingly (actually, probably not) I had a programme from every England qualifier for France 98 apart from Poland. My Dad wrote to the Polish FA and sent a $20 Travellers Cheque to try and get the last programme. They sent back signed photos of most of the 1986 World Cup squad, pennants, badges, envelopes, a scarf and basically everything the had hanging around apart from the programme!

Fair play! I've done a Cracovia game a few years ago. Great fans who sung non stop but pretty intimidating. Made me laugh how there was a wall of police searching everyone on the way in, yet anyone in an ultra t shirt had a hip flask on him during the game. Definetly different rules depending who you are.

Fair play to them for getting back to you with all that stuff, just a shame the programme wasn't amongst it. Probably a bit late now, but the programme for the home qualifier is here: www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Football-Programme-England-v-Poland-World-Cup-Qualifier-9-10-1996/173818644767?hash=item287866091f:g:6GYAAOSwWrxb5vX0

Well, I'm actually not sure any more. It was class to be fair, most associations are quite good with stuff like that.

In March, 1972, I qualified through school for a penalty shootout competition during the half-time break during the England v East Germany (U21's) at trashton. It took place at the open end, and in goal was Jim Barron, who at that time was the keeper for Notts Forest. I managed to score 2 out of 3, but lost. I did manage to get some cracking autographs for my book though !
The England team that day was:- Phil Parkes, G.Nisbet, Frank Lampard, L.Cantello, Larry Lloyd, D.Jeffries, S.Kember, Mick Channon, Malcolm Macdonald, Alan Hudson, Kevin Keegan.
I still scrub every day with a Brillo Pad and Dettol.

There have been artists I really liked until they played down there and then never felt the same about their music afterwards.
Never been there apart from in the away end with Rovers.
Back in the period we used to go there and win on a regular basis I always enjoyed a trip to Ashton. Tried to get my Dad to come with us and all he would say was "No, I went there once and I did not like it ... "

You wanted to see your dream man, and you ended up looking at my lilly white skinny 13 year old thighs.

First time at AG since the late 90’s. It’s certainly changed and fair to say that the gap is massive. The old Williams stand has certainly improved. Not sure why the east end is now the south stand but none the less. Anyway ...being north Bristol, me and my boys couldn’t be f**ked to travel there every week, pay a tenner for parking in a field and not have a chance to ramble around the ground after a few relaxed beers in some local boozers. Then go down glossie road for some tits and fanny after. UTG

A bit disappointing that Hudson-Odoi won't be playing after his call up to the senior side, but looking forward to watching the likes of Phil Foden, James Maddison, Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Reiss Nelson, Ryan Sessegnon and others tomorrow. I'm also a little disappointed that Robert Gumny and Dawid Kownacki won't be involved as they are now with the senior side and Sebastian Szymanski is injured for the Poles. Three good players. But, still should be a good game. Pirate, I don't know if you're in text conversation with the Poland's U21 manager but Szymanski is in the Polish squad. You were right, he did play...and what a quality little player he is. I got in the ground quite late and didn't see the line up, but after a couple of minutes made a note about the Polish no. 10..."tricky, nice balance, good touch, gets in good positions/finds pockets of spaces well." I realized it was Szymanski after later seeing the team sheet and then he scores an absolute worldie freekick. I knew he was a good player but when you see him up close you see just what a good prospect he is.

England looked very good but Poland defended stubbornly. Foden and Tomori stood out for me. Didn't realise Maddison was playing so he surprisingly didn't make an impact. For Poland - Bielik (classy player) , Szymanski and credit to the keeper for 2 great saves.
