Horrible club... horrid Supporters.... got what they deserved Utg. I know lots of Yeovil fans and they are just like us, normal fans who support their club. Certainly not horrible but each to their own I suppose. I get the hatred some have for Yeovil, I just don’t understand it that’s all. I know I’m in a very small minority but that’s ok. They deserve it as much as we did for finishing in the bottom 2, the table rarely lies. I think it’s sad that Somerset’s only league club, a good day out whenever we play them has gone to be replaced by Eastleigh or Salford or Fylde or Harrogate both of which struggle to get 1800 fans. Some of them being rich men’s toys, something Yeovil could never be described as. Whatever, I think they will struggle to get back. And tonight I’m just happy that we’ve got a point to stay in League 1. COYB! UTG!

Perhaps a cautionary tale about being too happy and public about someone else’s misfortune. It usually comes back to bite you on the a***! UTG!

Can't see Yeovil making a league return for quite some time. That league is stacked with some very decent (and wealthy) teams.

To be fair your right. They need to be careful that they dont end up in National league south or below.Them being one of the bigger clubs outside of the football league are over.

The same can be said of any club (and before anyone jumps on me, yes I want the Sheeds to fail as much as any Gashead). Every club will have its share of numpties, just as we do, but most fans are normal people who like football. My City supporting family and friends are very misguided, but normal people nonetheless. I have no doubt that Yeovil fans are the same.

Reminds me of the huge banner Liverpool fans held up against Man United saying "come back when you've won 18". Well they did with a bigger banner saying we're back!!! Fans don't forget as that Yeovil fan is now finding out!!!

For almost a decade ytfc put us to shame. Getting to the championship while we floundered was painful. Also the 2-2 in the noughties with Savage and Agogo playing their guts out sticks out.
My commiserations to their fans, but the decline since 2014 has been rapid. Unless they get a worthwhile takeover their decline will go on.

One thing I always remember from work was always be nice to people on the way up because you might pass them on the way down. Bad luck Yeovil, but it’s been coming for a few years. And it’s always UTG!

It was tongue in cheek warehamgas. Obviously not all Yeovil fans r forrid .. we all have clubs we like or dislike ..although my experience of Yeovil fans has not been positive 🤔I personally will be very disappointed if Dc ends up there Utg .

Yes, fair enough. Sorry for over reaction perhaps. And of course you’re right about teams we like or dislike, there’s a team just south of us I despise, though I’m sure some of their fans are fine. Surely DC won’t go to Yeovil will be wanted by far better clubs imo. UTG!

Their fans , the few they have, are not very passionate. I tried to find a fans forum about them, and whilst a couple are on the net, they all appeared to be dormant, with the last comments posted around 2014, unless I have missed something blindingly obvious.
That seems unusual, as you would think their fans would be up in arms at the way their club has been allowed to slip into near oblivion. I remember things got so acrimonious during our decline that the club had to shut down the official forum. That didn't stop fans comment, 2 indie forums appeared almost immediately. I was expecting to find at least 10 "Darren Way out" threads and a similar number bashing the board. Nothing.
A club with such complacent, compliant fans is never going to achieve much.

It's not that they don't want to do this, it's that Yeovil doesn't have internet, yet.
