Hereford went to the Sussex league as neither the then Conference or Southern leagues would not accept them because of their finances. They won the Wessex league, Both divisions of the Southern league and got themselves in National league North where they sit with Darlington; Stockport; Bradford Park Avenue; Boston United; Kidderminster; Chester; and York City are (almost League 2 part 2) Hereford have never played in the Sussex league (400 mile round trips for every game if they did) anymore than Rovers could ever play in the Lancashire league nor have they played in the Wessex league (if that even exists!). Why make sh** up?

Must be a few who were also playing-them teams regularly back then who are now in the prem.

If they hadn’t been demoted for the debt, they should have been demoted for that dodgy name. Their ground is far better than the Mem, plus one of their former players is a World Cup winner! No biggy, a few of us saw Alan Ball himself don the quarters

Oh, and the Wessex League does exist just mainly for teams from Dorset and Hampshire... Less so Herefordshire.

If Bolton are thrown out of the EFL, does it mean only one club are relegated to the National League; if so Yeovil could be saved.

Don't get me wrong they may get a Luton style deduction but they won't be chucked out unless they actually go under.

It's a bit difficult to punish owners who don't give one.... A bit like suspending a school kid for truancy....

Was pretty poor and not a patch on the Bristol Sunday or Regional Prem leagues.
