Why every managers job that comes up it’s for DC? He can’t take any job at the moment he’d lose too much money, unless the club in question want to buy out his remaining contract at the gas.

you mean only if they go down, right ? "PLYMOUTH Argyle have today (April 28) agreed by mutual consent that Derek Adams be relieved of his duties as Head of Football and First-Team Manager with immediate effect. The club would like to place on record its sincere gratitude to Derek, not only for his hard work and dedication in his management of the team, but also for his wider input into the club during four challenging and often exciting seasons. Assistant-manager Paul Wotton has been similarly relieved of his duties, by mutual consent with immediate effect, and the club also thanks Paul for his contribution and commitment to the Pilgrims’ coaching team. Kevin Nancekivell will take charge of the team for the vital final match of the Sky Bet League One season at home to Scunthorpe United on Saturday. The club will be making no further comment until further notice." <iframe style="position: absolute; width: 20.659999999999968px; height: 2.9399999999999977px; z-index: -9999; border-style: none;left: 15px; top: -5px;" id="MoatPxIOPT0_22608571" scrolling="no" width="20.659999999999968" height="2.9399999999999977"></iframe> <iframe style="position: absolute; width: 20.66px; height: 2.94px; z-index: -9999; border-style: none; left: 969px; top: -5px;" id="MoatPxIOPT0_12596748" scrolling="no" width="20.659999999999968" height="2.9399999999999977"></iframe> <iframe style="position: absolute; width: 20.66px; height: 2.94px; z-index: -9999; border-style: none; left: 15px; top: 89px;" id="MoatPxIOPT0_23797702" scrolling="no" width="20.659999999999968" height="2.9399999999999977"></iframe> <iframe style="position: absolute; width: 20.66px; height: 2.94px; z-index: -9999; border-style: none; left: 969px; top: 89px;" id="MoatPxIOPT0_26069952" scrolling="no" width="20.659999999999968" height="2.9399999999999977"></iframe>

Huge sh** or bust decision by the board, they’ll have the entire home crowd onside in that massive game at least. I believe it’s a winner takes all situation with a draw sending both down??

In all fairness it would be the perfect fit for him.It would be like seeing a homemade sex tape of the love of your life with her new partner tho when ever he joins another club.. But I hope he gets a club with potential and owners which wanna push forward.

Due to him being burnt out after 5 long years at our club maybe...? Each year he looked more f**ked.Go back to his post match interview after winning after lee browns last minute goal!

Absolute rubbish a young eager football loving manager can’t get enough being involved in something they love doing and getting well paid for,but Rovers ain’t going to still pay him well he’s managing another club and if he’s been paid off he would probably have a clause saying he would have to pay back monies he’s already had Wael and co ain’t stupid.

Something must have seriously hit the fan with one game to go. I can't recall a msnagerial sacking with one vital game left, it must be so bad that worse case scenario is that they can only improve for one period of 90 mins.

I said to my Plymouth mate only yesterday if I was the Plymouth board I’d sack him. Clubs in sh**e form that sack their manager usually win their next game particularly when it’s at home. It’s a good earner in the bookies.

Ok..ok...! Tbf, the payoff for him here from a 5 year deal would set DC up for life.I dont blame him if holding out if thats the case. But I also believe he was burnt out like f**k and needs te rest.

Ok time to come clean with what I know.
GC will become the first manager to save 2 clubs from relegation in the same season when he joins Plymouth later today.
DC returns to Rovers along with the new owners on Weds.
You heard it here first lads.
