Is the play offs the aim for you guys this season then?
I like Bristol Rovers, good club and always a laugh when we go down there.
One of my favourite ever away games was the season we got promoted to the now championship in 1998. 3-4 to the Saddlers if anyone remembers... ๐

Champions. My favourite was our 5 - 0 win at your place in 2009. Remember that? ๐

Quite honestly I feel sorry for Walsall Why mate ? We have also been taken over in the last 24 hours. The future is bright! Ah, I remember that optimism of shiny new owners who will make the footballing world great...โฆ.
Good luck to you guys, you do have a great bloke as manager and his assistant has always been a hero here as well. I now look at your forum and will keep a keen eye on your results and hope you walk the league.

I sit behind the dugouts and your manager at the time said just before half time we were โthe worst attacking team heโs seen this seasonโ Oh it was fun second half ๐

Was that the game we went 2-0 up after 4 mins and the. You went 3-2 up, we equalised and then you scored in the last few mins?

I believe that facility is no more? Always welcoming with reasonably priced beer and food; part and parcel of a good days football. "Good company, good beer and food; spoiled by only one thing the football"

Good luck this season, I'll miss our local derby with Walsall, easy to get too, always a decent gas turnout and a smart stadium.

Yes, Rovers v Walsall is one of the matches that I always think is a traditional fixture in Division 3. Weโve lost some like Bournemouth, Swansea, Brighton, Reading over the years so I hope Walsall come back up ASAP. UTG!

I hope Walsall aren't hoping to win the first ten games, or indeed any cup matches.

A fleet of coaches went although it wasn't worth it as we were thumped 5-0.

Wonder what they think of him now Early days still. A lot of Rovers fans were on his back after the first 5 games of the conference season but he managed to turn it round. Give him time and Iโm sure he will work his magic for Walsall too.

Was always a slow starter, I don't doubt they'll be around the top 7 come April/May.

Wonder what they think of him now They probably think he's a bloody good manager, which we all know already.
