So, fruit market it is. Anyone got a date? 29th February 2020Â You do realise that next year is a leap year? So that date actually exists!

That wouldn't have happened from the late 60's onwards though just like there wouldn't have been an issue if City and Rovers had their grounds across a park since 1900. Lots of potential agro i'm afraid if the ground was too close. The Feeder is a nice barrier even though thissurely won't happen. Having a ground very close to your neighbours takes the agro out of it as far as I'm concerned. Everton vs Liverpool, Dundee vs Dundee United and to a lesser extent Manchester United vs Manchester City are usually quite passive derbies as there isn't that geographical divide. I'm absolutely convinced that wouldn't be the case in Bristol.

There won’t be any trouble because when we’re playing at home they’ll be playing away..... and we all know they’re a very well supported club away from home . So there will be no one to have aggro with. Nonsense. Start drinking in Redcliffe and see what happens. They ain't all that well supported away are they for a team getting over 20k at home.

Have bought land at Bristol Fruit Market............ 🤔 #newstadiumonitsway I'm a bit confused, perhaps the original poster could clarify; In the subject title there is a question mark, 1. Are you asking us the question 2. Suggesting its a possible site 3. Suggesting it might happn or 4. Telling us it is happening Perhaps you could cherry pick one of the four

One of my first holiday jobs as a lad was working shifts on that site when it was a BRS parcel depot. Had to walk past the old 'glue factory', never known a stench like it. Easy walk for away fans coming into Temple Meads, and the cafe on the Paintworks could benefit. Thunderbolt could become a home fans pub! Short walk to Avon Meads and Showcase cinemas. Don't believe it for one moment though! Also walking distance to pubs in Redcliff and Old Market, plus the Barley Mow. Also lots of breweries in St Phillips which open on Saturdays Good Chemistry, Wiper & True, Moor, Barley Mow, Rovers. Bliss.
Or maybe go the other way, stop at Lost & Grounded.
Ain't gonna happen though.

I am led to believe option 4 Ah the old "led to believe" caveat. So in two weeks time if there is feck all news you can blame your "source"

I am led to believe option 4 Ah the old "led to believe" caveat. So in two weeks time if there is feck all news you can blame your "source" It's a tried and tested formula. Hint at something told to you by someone who remains nameless, because the confidential information they leaked to you is too confidential to be leaked to anyone else, so you put it on the internet to maintain its secrecy. Don't name names, don't give dates, in fact it's preferable not to say anything specific at all. Just use the words Invertors, Consortium, and Stadium here and there. It goes without saying that you must use the phrases that your source 'has never been wrong before' and you 'have no reason to believe he's lying'. Stir well, sit back and a week later you'll have a 20 page thread.

Not that I give the OP much credence, but that site is awful far south for me. Uncomfortably close to City heartland. Depends what you class as their "Heartland" Our spiritual home Eastville(Ikea) to the Fruit Market is 3 miles. Ashton Gate is also about 3 miles. I don't think Bristol really has a real "Heartland" anymore.
